10.13: Having the Mind of Jesus to Gain Wisdom and Understanding

For many years I was seeking love, wisdom and  understanding. The problem was that I was looking in all the wrong  places! For a time, I was really into astrology. I knew all of the sun  signs and could tell a person all about their personality by when they  were born. I dabbled for fun with a Ouija Board with some friends. I’ve  had my palm read, done tarot cards, spoken with physics, because I  wanted to know the future. Who would I marry? Would I have any kids?  Would I be successful? The usually stuff we all dream about when  searching for happiness. (My testimony is at the bottom.) Yet, I was trusting in the kind of wisdom that belongs to the world,  not to God. No wonder I was going nowhere. Actually, I was headed for hell, but I thought I was OK because I was baptized as a baby; I went to confession, to church, then later volunteered a lot. I was a good person. Yeah, right. Today, in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, Paul tells us where to find true wisdom — through God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit… Click on over to my blog for links to dig deeper and my testimony is at the bottom.... If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then… Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.  Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly… “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.” Jesus is coming back soon! Are you ready?
