Dr. Ken opens up Truth In The Afternoon with his opinion on the state of the world and how people are neglecting to live in reality but choosing to focus on the things that are far beyond their control. Dr. Ken then shares a saddening story of a Minnesota man who passed away in custody after police and correctional officers allegedly ignored signs of his stroke for hours, taking Dr. Ken back to his time as an officer, along with a medical professional joining the conversation and describing what should have been done to keep this man here and breathing today. Further into the hour Dr. Ken touches on the tragic passing of beloved singer D’Angelo & breaks news of MPS Athletic Director Bobbie Kelsey being relieved of his duties due to paperwork mistakes affecting local high school athletic programs.
