More than 18 million people tuned in to watch this “television event.” It stars Emmy-nominated Meredith Baxter as Betty Broderick. After a tumultuous 15-year marriage that produced four children, medical malpractice lawyer Dan Broderick left his wife, Betty. In turn, she torments Dan, and subsequently, Dan and his new wife, Linda. After years of harassment, Betty breaks into Dan and Linda’s house on the early morning hours of November 5, 1989 and murdered Dan and Linda as they slept.
