10 - Alexander Ghazvinian, Chief Compliance Officer, SICPA (corpororate, CEO’s best friend)

from Védelmi Vonalak · host Bácsfalvi András

I am joined by a very well-known and super experienced Chief Compliance Officer, the first ever Compliance manager for the German sales & marketing organization of Daimler AG, Alexander Ghazvinian! He also worked for Terex Corp., and in 2015 he was appointed Chief Compliance Officer by Maersk. Last year he joined SICPA, a Swiss-based global provider of security inks as well as secured identification, traceability and authentication solutions. Alexander is experienced in designing and implementing Ethics & Compliance programs focusing on anti-bribery compliance, competition law, foreign trade controls and data protection. During his career he had interactions with several regulators like the US DoJ or Spanish Criminal Court, while he was managing major investigations. From this episode you can learn what is the best piece of advice a compliance officer can get, whether it is important to be a legal practitioner, why Alexander appears in a Board meeting in an orange jumpsuit occasionally, and many more!
