The Barr Brothers, an indie folk band hailing from Montreal, Quebec, have been making waves in the music scene since their formation in 2006. Founded by American brothers Andrew (drums, percussion, vocals, keyboards) and Brad Barr (guitar, vocals), the band's unique sound is enriched by bassist Morgan Moore, pedal steel guitarist Brett Lanier, and harpist Eveline Gregoire-Rousseau. Their journey began when Brad and Andrew, originally from Providence, RI, relocated to Montreal after years of touring and recording as part of The Slip. There, they met harpist Sarah Pagé, and together with her, they started performing under the Barr Brothers name, blending Brad's songs with influences from Delta blues, Malian rhythms, and Appalachian musical traditions.
