10. FeMANism

from So Now You Know

In case you hadn't heard, gender inequality kind of sucks. As women we tend to give more attention to the ways in which it negatively affects us, but the fact is it's just as adverse for men. At the end of the day it's bad for everyone. It's not a male problem or a female problem, but a human one. Which is why in this week's episode of So Now You Know we decided to look at the effects that gender inequality can have on men. And to be honest, we were surprised at some of the things we found; not in a good way.  Just like women, men are constantly confronted with society's expectations of what a real man should be. These stereotypes can end up having some serious negative consequences on men's well-being, both mental and physical.  Follow us on Twitter (@snykpod) and Facebook!
