10: Freelance vs Corporate
from PLOTWIST
** Warning: NTSFW, to say the least ** Today on @ThePlotTwistPodcast we have Alex aka Picasso Gutierrez on the mic talking to us about his WORST VALENTINES DATE, what the most he spent on a Valentines Day. We learn a little bit about how it could be being Latino in the corporate world in the Bay Area. SOMETIMES our passion might not bring in the money at the moment, so then we are led to find a “real job” that does pay the bills and leave our passion on the side. This is what Picasso is doing but still keeping a focus on his artwork and brand. The PlotTwist in this episode is how he had to shift from a freelance lifestyle to a corporate mentality. REMEMBER, it is perfectly fine to follow your passions, but it is also okay to chase the money for the time being to stay above water. @itsjustatalk joined us on this episode and we had some everyday hilarious conversation with Picasso. “What would you do if you found out where adppted?” We talk about a little too much to even write about, so tune in stay for the whole time. Its a goodie. —————————————————————————— PlotTwist is a podcast where we talk about topics left unspoken by POC millennials.
