10 Medieval Town Walls - Fethard Walking Tour Audio Guide

Take a self-guided tour along the Butler Trail to explore Fethard, one of the finest medieval walled towns in Ireland. This audio guide will lead you around the beautiful historic walled town of Fethard, Tipperary. On our journey, we will discover the remains of ancient castles, magnificent churches and walk beside one of the best-preserved medieval town walls in Ireland. This project was undertaken in 2020 with funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development through the Town & Village Accelerated Measures Scheme and with support from Tipperary County Council. The audio guide was produced by Abarta Heritage on behalf of Tipperary County Council with support from the Fethard Historical Society and Fethard Business and Tourism Committee. It was written by Tara Clarke and edited by Damian Shiels. Narration was by Paula Rouse and the guide was produced in Bluebird Studios with sound engineer Declan Lonergan and producer Tara Clarke.
