Being a mother to yourself, caring for yourself lovingly, and replenishing yourself with strength and energy is a basic requirement for growth. It is living self-love and appreciation for yourself. This means you can regulate yourself very quickly in stressful times and relax again. The more often you listen to the music in moments when you feel safe and secure, the better. Then your system will soon establish the connection in the brain that this music means security, relaxation and calming and will very quickly switch back to the regulated state.
