10. Settling into Beingness, Coming Back to Basics, My Winter Threads, and a Personal Updates
from Wild River · host Sam Pfotenhauer
After four months on hiatus from this podcast, I wanted to share an episode right from my heart that didn’t focus on Human Design. While I love human design, it is not everything! In this episode I share about a transition I have had recently stepping from a learner and observer to a leader and a teacher. Though I genuinely love learning, I also can be motivated out of insecurity or fear. I unpack that and discuss how I am experimenting with integrating, rather than learning, during this season of my life. I share about my interest in returning back to the basic - focusing on connecting with my heart, my body, and Earth, as well as feeling available to life - and changing my relationship with distractions that have kept me from this focus (including human design!). I also describe my three threads for winter, the values I will prioritize over this season: (1) creativity without expectation, (2) presence with body, and (3) inwardness/releasing outer authorities. Lastly, I end with some personal updates. I got engaged to my partner two weeks ago! I have also had some exciting development in my work both as a lawyer and as a coach. I talk about the impact my co-facilitation of Soul Group this fall had on me. Want to learn more about Soul Group?
