#100 Surrounded by God's Beauty with Kate Capato

In this week's show, Jennie talks with sacred artist, Kate Capato, about her mission to help others encounter the Divine through beauty. Kate is a sacred art painter and inspirational speaker who magnifies Christ by brining to life truth, goodness and beauty through her artwork.   Kate shares that she has always had a love for beauty and art. As a child, she was always drawing, painting and creating. As she began to look to her future, she wanted to combine art and ministry to help others encounter God, but she wasn't sure how to fit them together. In college, she toured to Florence, Italy with her dance group. It was there that she discovered a sacred art school. God provided the opportunity for her to attend and through her studies she was inspired to create beautiful art that invites the faithful to encounter God's truth and goodness. Kate says, "when we taste beauty in this life, whether it is visually or in music, in nature or smell and taste, all these different ways that we encounter beauty, really we're, we're experiencing God."
