In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey everybody, welcome.

It is the 100th episode of the Supernatural Hour. We are here at Leslie's Family Tree. It's one of the venues that we record on occasion, but we investigate here all the time. This is where all the Lucy stories happen.

I'm your host, Castle. With us tonight, we've got Tim, aka Baker. What's happening? We've got Lurch.

Howdy. We've got Deann. Hello, hello. We've got Silent Dawn.

Hello. And we've got Peaches. What's up? Oh, we've got a What's Up out of Peaches.

All right, and tonight, we've got a special show. We've never done this before. I'm helping us not a complete utter disaster. It's going to be.

I know. Because it was my idea. And when I have ideas, they fell. No, they don't.

Not always. Exactly. They don't fell. So it's going to be a good episode.

Yay, confidence. All right, so I'd like to introduce our other hosts, our guests. Woo! Oh, I forgot to raise my hand.

Sorry. We clipped the hell out of that. So what our format is tonight is we are going to have a show, like we always do, minus the preparation part. So it'll be like most of our shows.

And what we're actually going to do is we're going to open up the show today to listener questions. And so you're going to hear questions from other listeners, the ones who decided to show up tonight. And my guests are probably going to ask a question that some of you may be wondering about, and we will kind of go from there. But before we get started, let's do business.

Tim, do we have any business? No. It's pot well. We're doing a haunted episode right now.

I haven't really planned it farther than tonight. Hey, we have planned that episode. You should have bought tickets. Yeah.

If you're not here, shame on you. If you want about tickets a week ago, it would have been 6 p.m. in Santa Quinn on February 2nd. I do have some stuff that in the works, I have some locations that we haven't done before that I'm going to be contacting and trying to get us into.

And I've got some other ideas. We might do a one of the things we talked about was possibly renting out an entire Grand Room. These are just ideas I have right now. I haven't nothing sentence stone yet.

So keep your own account. We'll talk about them on future episodes. We'll get these set up, but there will continue to be events. So if you missed the night, there will be further opportunities.

We do know that the restaurant has another price that they charge that's a little bit cheaper. So we might start doing investigations here as well that do not include the dinner, but they'll be a little bit lower in price just because of the dinner not being included. Right. So it might be a little bit more accessible to some of you.

We'd like to also give a special not thanks to the N because she brought Twizzlers. Because they're delicious. You forgot the red vines. That's what I am saying.

So what rules the Twizzlers do because they don't taste like Grandma for you? False. They don't rule anything. It's what's their taste like plastic.

All of it tastes like plastic. Licorice is disgusting. But they're here and where are your red vines? Hey, the Kirish nibs are delicious.

What's wrong with you? I forgot the red vines. I may have lied to all our listeners here tonight. You're such a jerk.

Hopefully they'll forgive us. There's Twizzlers. So before we get started with our listener questions, we want to say somewhat consistent. So Tim, let's do our stone.

Do we usually go with a recent investigation? Do we do everything recently? And we have not had a residential investigation in the last two weeks. We were here about two weeks ago.

We were here two weeks ago. We were here a lot apparently. And I'll be here again in March or May. Yes.

Our friend, Jimmy Lynn Darling is coming in town from Los Angeles. And she has several locations. She's doing this as one of them. I believe her ticket price is $100, but she's only selling like 10 tickets.

So it's going to be a very small, very intimate investigation. And Jimmy's fun. So for our stone of the week, I'm going to be kind of cheesy. Valentine's Day is coming up.

It's that retarded holiday that you celebrate with your loved ones. It's a holiday. I don't have one of those. So I just...

Call my colleague or loved one? Yes. You have one. He's sitting right next to you.

Oh, sorry. That was a secret. Well, the secret's out. But Lurch is hotter.

Thanks. That's true. I can't argue that. All the spirits that you guys asked, that's like your question.

He looks like he's with us. He's got going on. So this week I'm going to do Rose Quartz as the Stone of the Week. I know.

For Valentine's Day, I'm cheesy and savvy. I'm like Rose Quartz. I'm like Rose Quartz. It's heart shaped.

So is mine. I have the stones I bought you. Heart shaped. My Rose Quartz is shaped like a rock.

Mine too. I actually have a Rose Quartz pendulum as well. So Rose Quartz. It's the Stone of unconditional love.

It's one of the most important stones for the heart shocker work. It opens up the heart to all types of love. Love of self, love of family, love of friends, romantic love. Because it does the type of quartz, Rose Quartz does have a high energy.

But it's why he was also calming and soothing. The soothing energy of Rose Quartz fosters empathy, reconciliation and forgiveness of others. Lowering stress and tension in the heart. Rose Quartz clears out anger, jealousy and resentment of others.

And allows healing of heart issues and disease associated with holding on to such negative emotions. So I know a couple people in this room that probably use Rose Quartz daily. And that's pretty. No, I actually love my Rose Quartz.

What did you look at me? I didn't. I looked around the whole table. I looked at everybody, mainly Castle.

I was going to say with that guy, he has an 11th heart. But with the self love of Rose Quartz, you have to be careful. She can go blind if you touch that. Yeah, he might get some Harry Palms too.

Are you playing with your Rose Quartz again? No. But yeah. You're a battle ace.

Rose Quartz, I love my Rose Quartz. It's actually a lot of people. I think Cindy over here always tries to steal my Rose Quartz every time. It's around.

So I have to hide it when she's here. But it's mine I've been told has been touched by the Archangel Raphael. I don't know if that's true or not. But it does have a certain energy and vibe about it.

It's just like the article says, it is very calm and soothing. It just kind of makes you feel that peace with yourself. Fantastic. There's our Stone of the Week.

So our topic tonight is listener questions. So let's start with those. And I think we're going to have Mike come up with the mic first and talk to you. Mike, step up to yourself.

Simple. It's just asking. Is this on? Yes.

Wait, do you have a list of questions in your hand? Is that? I wrote a couple of them down because I forget things. A couple that looks like a full page.

Also, it's only about a third of a page. We're good. Okay. Alright.

So first question. What are some non-cross spirits that spirits have crossed? That's actually a really good question. I'm going to fill that one first if you guys don't mind.

Of course you would. We have gotten EVPs from cross spirits. Usually though, more often than not, most EVPs we get are from spirits that have not crossed. In fact, and I think everybody at the table would agree, a lot of EVPs we get are EVPs that say help me and it's from spirits that are earthbound, so to speak.

And so most of the spirits we come and contact with are earthbound. Most cross spirits are usually kind of going about their business. They got things to do. They don't get too involved.

Anybody else want to toss in on that? Well, I was just going to say pretty much the same thing. Cross-over spirits usually don't really interact with people that much. They're there to observe and just kind of check up on things.

They're more helpful than anything. They're usually there to look after a loved one or relative. I did get a really good EVP from a cross-over spirit once upon a time. But again, EVPs from cross-spirits are fairly rare.

How can you tell the difference between an EVP from a cross-spirit and from a non-cross-spirit? Peaches tells me so. I was just going to say that's why we have her. Yeah, I'm usually there when they happen.

So, and if I recognize the voice from the EVP session, I can usually remember if they're cross-or-not. And let me kind of relay a story in here real quick and like stories. Of course you do. You like your own voice.

We were actually at a home, in fact, I think D'Ann was there with us. Maybe D'Ann was not there with us. I will confirm when I find out more about D'Ann. You went to that one house that one time.

We were at a house and we'd gone back and the family was really close with an uncle who had lived there and passed away. No, she wasn't there. You know the one I'm talking about? That was the last investigation we did with Phil Misimachi before he passed.

That's right. Anyway, they had an uncle who had passed and we had Brandy and at the time Brandy wasn't really in tune with the cross-over spirits. But Caine kept really information from this cross-over spirit. Brandy came down and said, Caine's insane.

There's nobody here. Meanwhile, I'm in the corner bawling because I could feel the energy coming off of the spirit. Right. And then I ended up pulling the audio and you could clearly hear a male's voice, I mean very distinct in the EVP that was this cross-over uncle.

Brandy has since honed her skill and she can now see sense and hear cross-over spirits. Well, who from meditation? But yeah. And that's one thing with mediums real quick, just kind of a little aside.

Every single medium I think we've worked with their gift functions just a little bit differently and they're kind of in tune with a different frequency, if you will. And they tend to overlap in some areas but some may be better at some things than others. And like Brandy said, you know, if they practice meditation they can kind of broaden that frequency and see stuff that they couldn't be for if they're really working on their skills. I actually meditate every night for about eight hours.

With your eyes closed. Yes. Amy too. Talk about meditate, not...

Yes, meditate. Not masturbate. Yes. For eight hours that would be impressive.

That's like sting level. It takes to film a hard-o, I'm just saying. I'm just the real weird one. I'm just gonna sit here.

Yikes. Don't be jealous. Next question, what do we got? Alright.

The next couple questions are actually related to portals. So I'm going to wait for the thread use the authority on this one here. So do we know if portals are all two-way? Like the spirits can go come out of the portal but can go back in?

Or are there one-way portals where they can kind of come through a portal and then they're stuck here? Yes. So yes, there are two different types. There are many different types but yes, there are somewhere you can go in and out of and somewhere you can just go one way and not back.

So and they all look different. They have different colors, different patterns, all that type of thing. Are there only good portals and bad portals or is it just kind of a mixed bag? Just kind of a mixed bag, dude.

Really? Yep. I'd say one of the portals here actually is probably a prime example of one that is a one-way. Because I know Lucy kind of watches over it and like let's certain spirits come in but like nothing can go back in and go to wherever they came from.

Yeah, except constantly cross things over. Alright, what do we got next? Next question on it. Okay.

Which I like that Lurch asked about if they're good or bad because that was one of them. But I know that you talk about in the mirrors, like with the temple stuff, there's good. So that's kind of- Well I know at one point we used to- we call a portal would be the good one and if it was a negative one we call it a vortex. Right.

Yeah, switches is what's back here. And the vortex is usually going to be the ones that are one way. And for our guests, if you're a women's bathroom all you ladies, you're walking through a negative vortex and what happened being- You need to work on your evil laugh. That was like the worst- that was terrible.

That was bad. Try again. No. No.

Alright, that's a C. Next question. Next question. Do portals connect to a certain place or is it something kind of like- I have a weird imagination and I'm imagining like, you ever seen a monster's ink?

Yes. It's like a giant open room with all these doors. Is there like a master central control place? No.

Or they all just go to like one direct place? So with that question there are portals that are opened by humans usually by seance or what have you. And they usually have the intention of where they want it to go. And then there's just portals that were opened by accident or some that are just there for whatever reason.

So there's no like, you know, central base for all the portals. It just depends on what the portal was created or if it just opened. No grand central station. They're not like a subway where you can go.

It's not like, you know, on Beetlejuice where they have that little- where they all wait, they're trying to have a number type of thing. They actually, they made two video games on portals. Portal one and portal two. You have this magic gun that shoots an orange portal and then a blue portal.

Do I just mute him now? No, it's just a glass please. Hold on. I forgot this.

I got this. There we go. You can't mute me. I'm the loudest one here.

Those things on the ships are called portals. Yes. I like portals. Portholes are fun.

Are you making fun of the way I talk? Yes. Wake Up Horse Mike. I'm not sure what the questions I could think of but I did want to thank D.M.

for bringing the Twizzlers. Because of the best. And as a moment of unity I was going to- Hey. Thank you.

You want to time out? No, Twizzlers. You need to thank yourself because one of the bags of Twizzlers is the one you gave me for Christmas. Yeah.

You're welcome. Merry Christmas. Patrick's on the back. Mike, Bentley, ladies and gentlemen.

Woo hoo. Thanks, Mike. Great questions. Alright.

So it looks like we've got Mrs. Castle wants to ask some questions. Oh. I have a question.

I took out the trash, I promise. Now he didn't- I think he purposely left the Red Minds at home so if you have them all to yourself. I agree. I agree.

Hold on. We got a sound check here. Oh, okay. My questions for Brandy.

Am I sound checked yet? Yeah. Okay. Brandy.

Brandy. What did I do? I would know in this room with us how many spirits are with us. There are nine spirits in this room currently.

Not how many of those spirits came with people and how many are here originally? So eight of those spirits are here originally. Only one came with us. Is that Annie?

Are they eight? I'll just kind of chill hanging out or any of them. There is one, most of them are good but there is one darker entity that we named him JJ. So he's here.

Don't we got to see standing in the doorway over there? No, he's actually standing over in that door. I'm not changing right now. Yeah, that leads to Lucy.

She's the one that you don't rub you both. Don't rub you both. Don't rub you both on JJ. AJ, check this out.

Wow. That's from all those people that you can't see you. He just gave him a big old thumbs up. He's hoping JJ makes three lines.

Don't tell my bishop. What's your bishop's name? I'm not telling. I'll find out.

I know an officer of the law. He'll help you. That's you. His name is Bishop Fake.

Alright, so what do we got? Questions? Questions? There we go.

Dave Ward stepped up to the mic. Hi, my name's Lester. First time, long time. Hi, Lester.

I love the questions. I also like to commend Mike for being able to ask questions and eat Twizzlers without retching. Is it good? No, those are nasty.

My first question is, scrying. Why don't we do it more? What do you think of it? And have you ever considered doing it on an investigation such as this place?

Let's look. Do you want to go to the Lord? Well, let's first define what scrying is. That's looking into a mirror.

Correct. Gazing. Scrying, I think, in my opinion, it's almost like a seance. It's something that I don't think that we would really, I think we'd kind of frown upon it a little bit.

I think it has some negative connotations. That's my personal opinion. I could be wrong. Scrying is one of those things that we've frowned on as far as investigating goes.

It's kind of long lines of Ouija boards, other forms of divination, if you will. There's a lot of case studies, especially ones done by the Warrens, where people get really involved in it. They really kind of start having to use magic to do it and different ritualistic. There's kind of a ritualistic process to it, but some people get so addicted to it and start misusing it to try and see the future, try and see this other that it kind of becomes a gateway for type three spirits to use that.

In fact, one case study of the Warrens, the guy got so addicted to it. He basically spent hours and hours in front of this mirror. Just like our last episode on demonic oppression, he invited something bad in through it. By the time it was done with him, it destroyed his life.

There was really nothing left. I know also that the Paranormal Museum that Zach Beggens has in Las Vegas, they have a mirror that was used for scrying, and that's got some bad juju with it too. Deann, you were there. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

That's not one that I remember a lot, but I personally have a mirror phobia, and I remember when they did show us that one, I just kind of passed by it really fast. I didn't look into it or anything, but it did have some very negative energy that came off of it. From what I've seen televised about that mirror, the people that do gaze into it, they fall into that attachment really quickly. It does have some bad stuff attached to it.

Was that televised on Ghost Adventures? I was so believable that she was. It's completely... I believe everything Zach Beggens tells me.

Well, we've all had experiences with scrying from myself on Marco Polo when I kind of gaze into the outer world for way too long. When you draw random, I was told by Jimmy that when I do that, I've left my body for too long, and then something else comes and creeps in there and is like, Hey, I have a human body, what's going on? Hey, I'm gonna say castle some Latin text. We've all had a personal experience with those things too.

It is addicting, I can say, to Astro Project and Scry. One of the things that, in case anyone isn't familiar with it, we do use occasionally the Marco Polo app, which is kind of like a video text message. There have been a couple times where Brandy hasn't been herself, and those are the moments that she's referring to. So I shouldn't get the mirror out of my car?

No. Please let the room right away. Also, Infinity Mirrors, do all of them or all mirrors that face each other? How the potential to be a portal or are they just a natural portal?

Any mirror has a potential to be a portal. When you do the Infinity Mir thing, it actually exponentially increases that potential. Doesn't actually mean there will be a portal, but it, Infinity, it exponentially increases the ability for that mirror to go that direction. How many times?

Infinity. And that's one thing in residential is if, you know, there's activity in a certain room, and we notice that there are mirrors looking into each other, we'll have the homeowners remove one. We'll say, Hey, this is a problem you need to remove one. We had that in the house that you referred to earlier with the uncle that was crossed over.

In the main bedroom, they had like a, like a five mirrors that were all basically facing each other, basically forming like a pentagram pentagram pentagram pentagram. Cause that can't be bad. A shape. No, no, no, no.

And then it's not the day for member of the salon when we were there, and there was the two mirrors that they were a long way away from each other, but you were the one that I think identified. Yeah, well that mirror itself, you could tell just from where we were standing, didn't look like a mirror. Did anybody actually talk to the microphone? Cause no one's gonna be able to hear you.

I'm sorry. You could see, at least as far as I could tell, it looked almost like a pane of glass, but every so often you'd see kind of like a little wave in it. Kind of like when Neo sticks his finger into the mirror in Matrix, or as far as the geeky reference, but that's kind of was my first impression of that place. And then yes, we realized later it was facing a mirror clear on the other side of that building.

That's a salon. Well, I remember that mirror that Mark and I carried out of someone's home once. I was just thinking about that thing. When we picked it up first, it felt like it was maybe 15, 20 pounds.

And it got to the point to where it took both of us to carry this thing across the street to throw it away. It felt like it was about 200 pounds by the time we got to the dumpster. We were throwing it in. Yeah, and I mean, those are the two that are here.

Can see that Tim's not a little guy and Mark's not a little guy either. They're both big guys. It was literally across the street. It was what was the corner a lot that your cousin lives in that we went to.

Yeah, right. And I mean, it was like maybe 200 feet at the very most. Yeah, it was just across the street to the church parking lot. More questions.

I guess I don't know. I'm still standing here. But we had a residential visit of business where they had two mirrors facing each other in, let's just say, it's a medical type building. And are those able to be cleared or you just, it's just best not to have two mirrors facing each other?

I can clear them. I mean, I've closed portals in mirrors before. So they can be cleared. They can be closed.

It just depends on who finds out if it's open or not. And again, I, it's not say that you should never have an infinity mirror set up in your home. It just increases the potential. I'm trying to think of a good analogy, but really it's one of those things that you can have a real Christmas street in your house and you can leave it up until April and it's going to get dry.

The longer you leave it up, the drier it's going to get. It doesn't necessarily mean your house is going to start on fire, but it increases the potential exponentially each month you leave your Christmas tree up past December. Okay. Same concept.

That will conclude my mirror related questions. Everybody's going to hand it over to the face. Hey, my Christmas tree came down by January 1st. Thank you.

All right. Who else we got for questions? No questions. There's no stupid questions.

So, my first time to stall is India's. Hello. I'd like to say thank you for the first many many episodes, guys. Thank you.

Thank you for participating in the Hot Youth episode. So, my favorite thing about the show is your personal stories. So, which personal experience convinced you of the afterlife, spirits, or ghosts? Ooh, let's go around the table.

I'm going to start with Tim. Do you want to start? I'm going to say, like I kind of always believed in the paranormal. I was very fascinated with ghost hunters when I first came on and actually wanted to join their team until they found out they lived in Atlanta.

But I think the thing that kind of just really set it in stone for me is, Pete and I were on an investigation at the Fort Douglas Military Museum, and this was the first time I ever remember being touched by a spirit. And I actually, we were in the, what they called the Navy Room at the time. And I just kind of stopped dead in my tracks and I just looked at Pete's and I go, this is really weird. And she's like, what?

And I go, my arm, like right here, for those that are in the room, it's just a little bit up with my wrist. It just felt really warm. And I had Brandi, like, Pete just kind of fell through my arm and she confirmed that it was just that one spot. It was like really hot for no apparent reason.

And then she told me that it was an old man that had grabbed onto my arm because I looked like his son. And when she told him that he had to go, I could feel the muscle in my arm, just like everything tightening. Like he was squeezing down harder. And eventually she got him to let go and all that feeling went away.

But that moment for me, that's kind of when I first started investigating it before I met with and cast on all them. That moment for me was just kind of what confirmed that everything that we've been taught or that we've learned to believe is real. Okay. Where's your endeck?

I'm sure everyone's probably heard my story before, but I'll tell again. Ever since I was a small kid, I almost had an unnatural fear of death. And I remember doing a lot of research growing up about what's out there. My grandmother even had a near death experience, which kind of made me believe that there was something else beyond our own physical life.

And through the serendipitous nature of life, I became a funeral director and I was working as a funeral director for about ten years. Excuse me. And during the course of that, I remember one time having a conversation with Deann because I knew that she and Gary had both started a paranormal research experience. I started a paranormal research group and I talked to you for probably about an hour on the phone and you convinced me to go out to Fear Factory.

No, not Fear Factory. 749 in Twilla. And when we were there, I remember hearing an audible EVP and it was something that I heard with my own ears. I didn't have to listen to it on playback.

And that really turned me from more of a skeptic into a believer. There's stuff out there that's still here, that there's spirits wandering the earth, that there's things that we can do to investigate that. I've always been fascinated through the scientific method of doing research and not just personal experiences, but finding hard evidence. And a lot of the TV shows that I started watching at the time too, they kind of made me feel like there's evidence that they're gathering through scientific equipment.

And that kind of fascinated me, the whole scientific side of it, research and analysis and methodical process of gathering information. So that kind of all culminated together around the same time. It wasn't a morbid curiosity, it was just purely circumstantial that I happened to be doing what I was doing and then also getting involved in the paranormal at the same time. Awesome.

So there you go. Ganna to square you. So I'm sitting here thinking, I don't think I've ever been a skeptic. I think I've just always been fascinated by it.

I mean in the LDS culture you'll hear often times, someone's passed and they'll say, oh, this person that's passed came to me and told me everything was okay. I think I've just always believed so I thought how am I going to answer this question. And I think probably just tell you what my favorite experience was. And again, it's one that I'm podcast listeners.

I've probably heard a couple times here again, but when we went to Boston four years ago, three years ago, and we had the spirit follow me home. There was just so many, so much activity with her that I thought, you know, if I ever doubted, you know, I did definitely pound it down. I mean, she turned on the heater in my car. She played the piano.

My kids could hear her cry. And then the little spirit mabel that lives in my home was afraid for my daughter and locked my daughter in her room trying to keep her away from the spirit that was grumbly. I think that's my favorite experience. But I think I just, I don't know that I have a defining moment.

Don? Don, you're on deck. Okay. So probably I had an experience when I was quite young.

I was probably 10 or so. And I was in the basement of the home that I grew up in. And I guess I'd call it an apparition. It's pretty evident.

I still remember it from from 10. And I'm old, but it was a kind of a floating. I can confirm that he's old. Kind of a floating head in a hallway.

You know, when I got up and went down, I just kind of kind of freaked me out. It was there. And I just remember that. I'm not really sensitive most of the time.

Deannal, a lot of times say, did you feel that? Or did you do that? It's kind of like, no, I'm not a doubter. I don't doubt that things are happening and those kinds of things.

I muted my phone. No, you didn't. I did. It says it's on vibrate.

That sounded audible to me. That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Listen, an alarm. Yeah.

That alarm's written through. I was just going to go on to the end and tell everybody to sound so far. And there she goes. It's 8.20 in case anybody wants to.

But yeah, that's that bedtime. It's not time. It's the end of the senior hour in Chukorama. I don't know why I have an alarm.

I'm going to turn into a pumpkin now. Okay. What made you decide to get to the pre-mble? I'm finished.

Okay. Did Casa want to go before me? Go ahead. Okay.

So you've all heard my story, but I'll tell you again. Mine was pretty young. I was about five, six years old with my father for the weekend. He was cooking supper and I was outside playing by my late son because I'm an only child.

He yelled from the kitchen to come in for supper. And at that moment, my lovely grandmother, Annie, who you've all heard about, she appeared to me until not to go full operation inside the house. I've never seen her before. I'd only heard her voice.

So when I was actually to see her full operation, I love her so much, but she is gruesome to look at it. She's coming not to go inside, which forced my father to come outside to get to me because I wasn't listening to him. And because he came outside, she rushed inside and cleared whatever she didn't want me to be a part of out of the home. And then I just started seeing her and then it progressed from there.

So it's like a savior story. Casa, what about you? Things that's not happening here, I am. No, she's getting pretty far out of half long story about the leather jacket.

What's a part of time? Well, I grew up, both myself and Jan, our parents worked shift working on me, we were kids, and we spent a lot of time at our great aunt's house. And her house was built probably what, in the 1920s, 1910s? Oh no, it's like 1880.

It's older than you think. Really? I looked it up and I was a little shocked. Anyway, the home was old.

I mean, in one of the bedrooms in the basement I had an old coal chute that was covered up in the coal chute that was still there, called to heat the home. I agreed to this house, in case you wondered. Yeah, and the basement of this home was just creepy. Except for the back room, there's like a back room because her husband was a cobbler, you know, thick shoes and it had an outside door.

That room was okay. If you could make it past the scary part to that room, then you were okay. But everything else was scary. But the whole basement just kind of gave you the heebie-jeebies, but it was interesting because, like, me and Jan would be in the basement.

And our great aunt would come down and we'd be the only people in the home. And you could clearly, I mean, did I maybe hear that? No, I mean, you clearly heard somebody walk around upstairs and there's nobody else in the home. No, she lived by herself, so it was just her.

Yeah, and there was one room upstairs that everybody hated. It was a brightly lit room, but it was always about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the rest of the home. That's called the West Bedroom because it was on the West Side of the House. And that room gave everybody the heebie-jeebies.

People would have a recurring dream about that room. People would have the same dream about that room. In fact, I remember sharing my dream and Jan going, I had that same dream. And interestingly enough, I talked to a friend who bought the house years after my gradent died.

And I was telling that story and she kind of got pale and freaked out because she had that same dream too and she moved into the house after. On top of that, I went to a grade school that was built in 1906. 1901? 1901?

1901? 1901? 1901? 1901?

1901? 1901? 1901? 1901?

1901? 19-something. 19-something. One of those would be peaches.

There's a great big huge portal over the top of the house. And our little brother used to say that he'd be in bed like the cupboards and doors and start opening and closing on their own and voices would talk to him and be like, yeah, whatever. You know, our parents would open up the house and that might ever happen here. It's a funny-uh.

I'm just kidding. Right? But after kind of learning that there's two portals over the home, his story starts to make sense as far as spirits interacting with him and his room. So like Jan is kind of surrounded by, I don't know that I've ever been a skeptic.

In my opinion, the paranormal kind of dovetails in with my religious beliefs. I haven't really found anything that conflicts. And so I've kind of always been a believer in just the more I do this, the more I see. You get to where there's just no doubts.

Even in this particular building we're at right now, two or three investigations ago, I saw an apparition walk right through about where you're standing city, passed to where Tim's at, and disappeared about where Lurch is at. And actually it was the light drop I thought was one of our guests. So as I got to where Lurch is at, I turned on the light and everybody was seated and there was nobody walking around. You know where they could have gone.

Kind of like where Paul seated right now, probably a little bit further to the south. That's going to make so much sense to people that are listening to. Right? I'm glad you pointed that.

But there's really no way for anybody to get past them. I mean, there's no explanation of where that person went because they were spirit. What else do you have for Cindy? Alright, what is the best way to talk to a spirit?

Kind of in a dialogue, out loud, rods, your dreams, or John Edwards? With your mouth. Who's John Edwards? No, it's not Edwards.

Oh, come on. I even had to John Edwards's. Thank you. I always say you, Peaches would be the best way to communicate with a spirit.

I am not always going to be around. Whatever. With your mouth. They know what you're trying to get across.

They have a totally different plane that they play on. I think when we're on an investigation and Brandi's not there, I think every investigator has their own special thing. I mean, some people might like the K2, some people might go to Meteor Pro anymore. I'm really liking the Dowsing Rons.

I seem to get the best response from those. But I think as far as you are, our own individual kind of just depends on what works for us and what the spirits are willing to. Because I've got spirits that are like it and not to the Dowsing Rons. Yeah, and I say that's one thing I know is that certain spirits like certain pieces of equipment, I can go into some locations with a K2 and it just goes nuts all night long.

I can go to another location and the spirits will touch the K2, but they'll be all over the Dowsing Rons, but you go to another location and they won't touch the Dowsing Rons. It kind of depends on the individual what you're comfortable with and it depends on the spirit what the spirit's comfortable with. In fact, the last residential we went on, I haven't been able to get the spirit to turn on flashlights consistently for a long time, but when we were at that last home, I thought I was with you guys in the basement. That elderly spirit, that's all she wanted to do was the flashlights.

Well, and it also depends on what the spirit's comfortable with because spirits are people as well or were at one point. I mean, you can kind of, I fully believe that the majority of the way we communicate is through our energy, not through our, what we say or our body language or anything like that. So whether or not you realize that you can actually read someone's energy, I believe everybody can, and it's the same as spirits. So if you're trying to talk to a spirit and they don't like whatever energy you're putting off for whatever reason, they're not going to talk to you.

So in my personal opinion, I think it's more just kind of like, yeah, I joke around saying it with your mouth is the best way to talk to them, but also feel it's just kind of the energy or the intent that you're putting out there as well. Alright, who's up next? We're going to fight everybody's fighting for the microphone. That's actually kind of the lie.

Now we got a tool post and they knew Cindy. Now that worked better. That looks uncomfortable. It's Josh, right?

Josh, go to the taller microphone. I think that one sounds better anyway. Is that better? That's a lot better.

Awesome. What would you tell those that believe that all spirits are evil? You know, that is actually a really good question because if you go on YouTube, you'll find the occasional person who just takes all spirits or satanic, demonic, and they're all trying to trick us and destroy us. Quite frankly, we run across a lot of spirits and some are just very benign and helpful.

You know, when you start doing like a cleansing and you start playing like religious music and part of the expression of Jesus music, the evil spirits turn-tail, the good ones don't, which I think is kind of indicative of itself of the fact that not all spirits are evil. Do you want to comment on this one, Tim? So how do you convince someone though? Well, and that's the hard part.

If you want to go to that and convince somebody, I don't know that you can because if someone's got their mind made up that every spirit is evil, there's not a whole lot you can do it. I've got a friend that actually is a Jehovah's Witness. There we go. And she's under that same belief that there are no human spirits.

Everything is a demonic entity that's just trying to trick us into their human spirit. And I've known her for years and I've never been able to change her mind on that despite anything that I've shown her that's contrary to what she believes. But you know, it's kind of like how we are with our religious beliefs. Like for a lot of those people, it's a religious thing and they're not so willing to just give up what they've taught their entire life.

Right. I have an aunt and our family will do a ladies night and we'll go to Park City and spend the night and every single time, you know, it starts to be a little dark. And tell us a go story, tell us a go story, tell us a go story. And I have one aunt that will just, you know, get mad and stomp out and go hide in the bedroom because she refuses to refuse it.

So yeah, like Tim said, sometimes you just can't change people's minds. But as far as like, as far as like, my opinion is whether or not there's good or bad spirits, it's, again, comes back to energy for me. It's like the analogy I like to use where if you walk into a room where there's like 10 really angry people, you can feel that negative energy. And what I've noticed through our investigations, you're more likely to feel negative energy than positive energy.

It doesn't radiate the same. And for some reason, negative energy is easier to pick up on. So to me, it would make sense in that case that if that's all people ever feeling, that's why they're going to think that there's only negative or, you know, evil spirits. I'm actually going to kind of point out too that if you want to take it from like religious and scriptural standpoint, if there's the term by their fruits, you shall know them.

And when we run into different spirits, the negative ones, the evil ones, they behave in a way that is evil. They're trying to scare, they're trying to terrorize, they're trying to cause problems, they're trying to cause division. Like Tim said, you can feel the negative energy. But we also run across a lot of spirits that are helpful.

They try and help. They try, you know, their fruits if you will are not negative. They're not evil, they're not ill-intentioned. Some are protective.

Yeah, some are protective. And so that I think is probably the easiest way to differentiate that there are good and there are bad spirits. But yeah, I think when you go down the religious road, there's some people that just, they're chosen belief. And even in the same religion, I mean, I'm LDS and I know LDS people who are very open-minded.

I know some that are incredibly close-minded when it comes to spirits. It's interesting within even a single religious belief, the different thought processes and mentalities. But when they attach it to religion, it becomes real hard to change their mind if they've made something up and decided that's what direction they're going to go. Well, also there's, so people mistake anger for being malevolent.

So anger is the strongest emotion a person can have. It controls a lot of things in your mindset. How you think about a situation, how you feel about a certain person. Anger is very strong and some can come off as malevolent or evil.

Depending on the person, the spirit on what they were wronged, they're mad. If somebody killed their baby and they were upset, the mother would be upset and angry about that. Or they haven't moved on to the next plane and they're upset about it. They don't get why they're stuck.

And so that can create a lot of emotional problems which then turn to other people. And that's just the way that it makes them feel because their feeling with a ghost is really. You can always suggest to somebody, you know, go on a ghost. We've had several people that have come on investigations with us that you had the belief that all of them were negative and malevolent.

And not all of them as far as the people that came. But we've had a few that said, wow, I came here thinking that everything was bad or it wasn't a thing. And there's many that have said, because of this experience or because of that experience, I've changed my mind. So if you can get them to come on an investigation, sometimes that might help change.
