Im Welt-Mädchenbericht 2019 von Plan International, einem NGO für Entwicklungshilfe, wurde zu Frauenrollen in Kinofilmen geforscht mit einem deutlichen Ergebnis: Frauen übertrumpfen Männer im Kino zahlenmäßig nur im Nacktsein. Die Untersuchungen haben ergeben, dass Frauen in Filmen etwa viermal so oft nackt sind wie Männer. Beispiele von den Bond-Girls, über Transformers bis zu „The Wolf of Wall Street“ kennen wir alle.
