Lutnick is already tainted by his lies about his relationship with Epstein, his disgraceful treatment of 9/11 victims, and a family-business conflict of interest that is strong enough to trigger a Senate investigation and hopefully put an end to Lutnick’s years of graft, corruption, and greed.Trump’s Taint: The World Cup should rise above politics, so naturally, Trump dragged it into the swamp. His cozy FIFA ties and reported push to reverse a U.S. player’s ejection turned a soccer dispute into another showcase of ego, favoritism, and international embarrassment. Then Team USA lost to Belgium because Trump jinxes everything he touches.Mayor Messiah: Zohran Mamdani apparently thinks being mayor of New York City means being appointed national philosopher-in-chief, using a Fourth of July address to lecture America on its own meaning before proving he can make City Hall answer the phone. We unpack the ego, the sermonizing, and the very New York delusion that a mayor six months into the job should be delivering a national manifesto instead of fixing potholes, subways, housing, bureaucracy, and the basic machinery of city government.Lander’s Laxity: A New York City plumbing supervisor reportedly pulled in more than $450,000 in annual pay, including over 2,500 hours of overtime, raising obvious questions about how closely public-housing payrolls are being monitored.
