#101 The gift of grief with Pascale Recher

from The Unconventionalists with Mark Leruste · host Mark Leruste

What if I told you your story mattered and the world needed to hear it? Would you think I'm crazy? Or would you swing for the fences? If you've been with me for a while then you'll know that I'm a BIG believer in saying that everyone's story matters. That there is a true transformative gift in sharing your story with the world that you can only appreciate once you start letting your story out. Because you simply never know who you will heal or help by sharing it with the world. Today's guest is a true example of my theory. You see, on the 12th June 2018, Pascale Recher, founder of Right Brain Geek, was sitting in the audience of my live recording of episode 100 of The Unconventionalists podcast. At the end of the event, I challenged the whole crowd to share their story online and the lucky winner would be invited to come on my show and be my 101st guest. Well, as you'll learn in today's conversation, Pascale almost didn't share her story online. And yet, she did. When I read her story, I was moved and knew I had to get her on the show to talk about her journey so I could share it with you all. As you'll hear, it's crazy to realise that death and grief can be such powerful teachers. I know you’ll get a lot out our conversation and I can't wait to hear your favourite quote(s) from today's episode over on social media by tagging me @markleruste and #theunconventionalists!
