101 What is the Perfect Protein

from Biblical Nutrition Academy Podcast · host Annette Reeder

Looking for the perfect protein to build muscles and manage your weight? Forget the pricey protein powder because all you need is this cheap protein source to thrive! What's the perfect protein? Is it soybean? Milk? Cheese? Guess what? It's egg! And not only is it a complete protein source but it's also a cheap protein source! You don't have to pay hundreds of dollars to buy those expensive protein powder when you can just eat an egg a day. What's good about protein, anyway? First of all, protein is essential to your diet. Without it, your body will just waste away. You need healthy proteins to keep the muscles strong and make you vibrant and healthy. Every tissue in your body that has to do with repair requires protein. Your body needs 20 amino acids, and 8 of them are essential. This means you need to get them from your diet And you get all of those from an egg! Eggs are scored at 100 when it comes to the protein content. And most importantly, all 8 amino acids are found in an egg. So what happens if you eat food that doesn't give you all 8 amino acids? This is why you need to know the right combination of food to eat. Rice and beans can give you complete protein. What's good about eating a complete protein diet? First, it's great for people who are trying to lose weight or wanting to maintain their ideal weight. When you eat protein-rich food, you feel satiated longer. This prevents you from having to want to binge-eat and snack on random foods at random times of the day. You become more satisfied with the meal you eat for longer hours. Most importantly, protein helps your cells and tissues repair themselves. You will feel full of energy, ready to take on any challenge in your day.
