from AWONDERJUNKIE · host Ryan Anderson

Dr. Tom Myers Ph.D. is a researcher, teacher, dad, husband, friend, and student.   As an inclusive and innovative Behavioral and Organizational Development Advisor, Educator, and Leader, Dr. Myers applies a balance of the mind, the body, and the spirit to help others achieve greatness.   Dr. Myers uses his impactful expertise in areas critical to personal fulfillment and professional development, and he helps individuals to realize their best and highest selves. Meanwhile, he also helps organizations focus on investing in people for increased growth, stability, and profitability.    His diversified international career includes government leadership, entrepreneurial ventures, and academia. For the past 20 years, Dr. Myers has served as a Professor and Endowed Chair at Champlain College, where he applies experiential and strengths-centered approaches with all learners.   The intersection of strengths-centered approaches and mind, body, and spirit have led him to research into the strength-based theory and application of Jung's Synchronicity Theory. This is the phenomenon of inter-connective meaningful events in life. This research culminated with his doctoral dissertation, The Emergent Synchronicity Principle in Appreciative Inquiry: Seeing the Connections. Tom Myers shares his journey from academia to consulting, emphasizing the concept of synchronicity and its practical applications in personal growth. He discusses the importance of understanding one's personality and strengths, the role of gratitude and trust in navigating life's challenges, and the significance of surrendering to the process of life. Tom also highlights the value of breath work and meditation in enhancing awareness and recognizing synchronistic patterns. The discussion concludes with insights on how to empower oneself and others through self-discovery and connection.       Chapters   00:00 Introduction and Background of Tom Myers 05:00 Understanding Synchronicity 12:05 Practical Applications of Synchronicity 19:53 The Role of Personality and Strengths 29:53 Luck, Trust, and Life's Challenges 39:54 Surrendering to the Process 50:00 Final Thoughts and Resources     https://www.trisyncimpact.com/ https://www.instagram.com/trisyncimpact/   Connect with Ryan Anderson Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/awonderjunkie/ awonderjunkie.com Breathe4Flow.com Rumble https://rumble.com/user/awonderjunkie Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@awonderjunkie iTunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a-wondejunkie/id1739838765 Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/1CcQXpxfV9P89IrKmtV2hS?si=6519a88aef444ba0 Incandescent lighting https://strainlesslighting.com/ 10% off use the code “WONDER” at checkout. synchronicity, personal growth, Tom Myers, strengths, personality, luck, meditation, breath work, self-discovery, coaching
