102 - How to take time out from your business

from School Hours or Less: The Podcast for Mums & Moms Building Profitable Businesses Around Family Life · host Kirsty Knight

So last week I delivered a training to a Mastermind run by the brilliant David Vox on getting time back from your business. And at the end I had someone ask a specific question around taking time out from her business to have a baby, and have sort of 3 months or so off for maternity.  And I actually know quite a few of my colleagues, who have similar businesses to me - who are concerned about how they could do this - it's obviously a different scenario when you are a business owner or self-employed, than when you are employed.  And so I thought I would share what I coached this person on in case it is helpful for you - so today's episode is going to be for you if you are thinking of taking some time out from your business at some point in the near future and you are trying to prepare for it. Even if that isn't necessarily for a baby. Maybe it's for a trip. Or just an extended break.
