This led to a lot of challenges, but at the time, he had shown vast improvement and a real commitment to becoming better—specifically, learning how to express empathy in a way that wasn’t harmful to those around him. Because of that progress, she decided to continue the marriage and even launched a program aimed at helping other women in relationships with narcissists who were determined to make it work.
