Let's tell Mom it was Billy's mistake. You're making the mistake. Flint! Anyone can have an accident, but lying makes it worse.
But Mom will be upset. She'll be even more upset if you're lying. And how would you feel if Billy got punished? Face up to what you've done.
Don't take the easy way out. We'll tell her we did it. Remember, it's better to tell the truth. And that's no lie.
Now we know. And knowing is half the battle. G.I. Joe!
Cobra! Hello and welcome to our new episode of Retrospection. Join us as we battle the evil forces of Cobra. In the 1987 animated adventure, G.I.
Joe, the movie. My name's Colin. What is this? The Twilight Zone?
It feels like it's on time, doesn't it? Yeah, it does. Yeah, never ending. Never ending.
My name's Paul and Tretchery, we're being attacked from behind. That's not the voice you usually use for that sentence. What voice do I usually use, Colin? I'm not doing it.
How do you know? I've been told. Oh, have you? I thought you'd be lurking again.
No, no. The voice brigade told me. How is another voice brigade? I know.
A sustain they've never removed. IMDb says the heroic G.I. Joe action force must oppose the ruthless Cobra organization that has secretly allied with a subterranean reptilian people who were their founders. Interesting that they use the term action force, as this was released as action force the movie in the UK, and we'll talk about that in a bit.
Was it really? In fact, actually, you sign that now. I'm sure I remember seeing it in the video shop under that line. There you go.
So this, this is a connection with Transformers, doesn't it? In the sense that it's made by Hasbro? Yeah, but isn't there another, another deeper thing? The trans, is it the transforms affected this movie or the other way around?
Oh, so this movie was supposed to, so just the Transformers, my little pony, and G.I. Joe, and they were supposed to be released. And G.I. Joe was supposed to be the first movie, which has just got held up slightly delayed.
No, no real serious reasons. So, Transformers came out first. Transformers bombed. My little pony bombed.
So, G.I. Joe never went to the cinema, went straight to video. Oh, right. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I had a vague memory of seeing a poster on a wall, but maybe it was a, maybe it was a bus shelter.
I, I could believe you've seen posters on walls. I think for this particular film. Oh, for this movie. Oh, okay.
And didn't it affect something that majorly happens in this film as well? Yes, because Optimus Prime dies in the Transformers film. And there was such a backlash to it that they had to re-edit certain parts of this film because Duke dies in inverted comics in this film. It's so obvious that he died as well when you get to that moment.
And apparently story consultant Bill Dixon has pointed out though, he actually watched that sequence with the sign down. It's obvious that he's dead. On the audio commentary that Bill Dixon does for the film, he does this whole long bit that's like a Monty Python dead parrot thing, but does the dead Joe version of it? He's an ex-Joe.
He is no more a Joe. He is a dead Joe. He's a Joe that slipped this metal coil and passed out. He does all this, but like ages.
When Scarlett says he slipped into a coma, he just goes, boom. No, if I listeners, any new listeners want to hear us talk about the Transformers movie, go all the way back to, I think it was one of our first episodes that we did. It was in the first 10 at least. We'll do that.
Yeah. Some, some purpose have recently downloaded the Night Rider episode. I felt like emailing apologies. I bet they didn't come back.
I can't let them. We have to do not ride again. We could do it better this time. We could.
Yeah. Well, I remember as well. We didn't like the Transformers movie, did we? I don't think we did.
No. Which is weird because I never collected any Transformers as a kid and I had Transformers on videotape. I collected action files, which we'll talk about. It's equivalent to GIGL and I kind of like GIGL, but I never had the GIGL movie.
I changed. Yeah, I figure that one out. Yeah. Very strange.
I should say upfront that some, I don't really know a lot about GIGL at all. I thought this was going to be a much bigger reveal. Oh, no, no, no. I'll save that for when we've got no listeners and what we need to.
Okay. I don't know a lot about GIGL at all. I've never seen this film before. I've maybe caught the old episode here in the, my son actually watches the old 80s cut.
So I've drifted in and out of that a little bit. But this movie's set after the original series, isn't it? It's between, I think it's between the first and second series. Okay.
So I'm going to say upfront that I was very confused by a lot of this. Right. Yeah. So one of the big problems with it is because the film is basically designed to push the new toy line.
Yeah. So it's so obvious as well. So half the GIGOs get captured and are, are like, eggnards with the head tire film. So that's one of the problems with it.
Isn't that, if memory serves, that's a similar situation to what they did with the Transformers movie, isn't it? They wanted to sell some new Transformers toys. So they, they sidelined all the original ones and brought in some new ones. Now, that always goes well, doesn't it?
When you do that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Another problem for continuity fans is for example, you see Stila and Grunt in this film, but in the cartoon episode, Worlds Without End Part Two, which urged before this film came out, they had stayed behind in an alternate Cobra controlled universe. So they shouldn't be in the film. Did these writers go on to write modern Star Trek?
I don't know. I don't know. It'd be very interesting to see if that's the work in there. There's an interesting and slightly irritating phrase that gets repeated in this movie quite a lot.
Cobra, Lara? Yeah. Yeah. The writer says that it was, well, first of all, the name Cobra Lara was just a placeholder in the script before they decided to come up with something.
But unfortunately, the Hasbro people loved it so much that they decided to keep it. And he's not happy about that at all. Because he said it's just a ripple for Shangri-La. That is true, isn't it?
I hadn't thought of that. It does get very irritated though. Yeah. And also, the La-La-La-La-Lastoff was supposed to be high-pitched and shrill, similar to the sound the women make in Lawrence of Arabia as a warning when approaching troops are coming.
But none of the voice actors could do it high enough. And it never quite reached the sound that he wanted. The movie's open sequence at the Statue of Liberty. That was originally planned as the movie's climax.
Yeah. It was turned into an opening so that newcomers to the French ones would understand the premise of the series. And again, against the writers' wishes, because as he says in the commentary, you couldn't understand why Cobra is attacking the Statue of Liberty. Yeah, because it's- There's no logic to it.
And it doesn't really fit with the rest of the movie anyway. No. Not unless he's into statue toppling before it became a thing. Maybe, maybe sorry.
Yeah, maybe. There was originally intended to be a topless scene about him. It was a ranna. Yeah.
It was supposed to, yeah, get out the car when she's into skies and changes, but suddenly she has a magical swimsuit that appears from nowhere. It would have been a strange turn to have cartoon boobs in it, don't you think? Well, it would have been from the back though. So, don't think you're going to go full frontal.
No. Yeah, very strange idea. Maybe it would have done better if it had done that. Yeah, maybe.
So why actually force the movie in the UK? Go on. Well, the UK had its own line of action figures known as action force. Originally, these palletoid produced toys were just smaller incarnations of the action man line.
We call it Generation 1 now. Then they became their own franchise. As time went on, they started to use molds from the American GI Joe line, repainting and renaming them. So, for example, Skylet and GI Joe became quarrel in action force.
She was a member of Z-Force. This is known as the second generation. Eventually, palletoid, CD-controlled to Hasbro, he would then just bring GI Joe figures into Europe and repackage them in action force cards. The comics joined the GI Joe world with action force by having Baron Ironblood, who was the main enemy in action force, re-emerge as Cobra Commander.
Now, I did have some action force figures, those early action force figures. I think we talked about this in a Christmas episode a while ago. I had a Baron Ironblood and I had the, it was an SAS guy. I had the Frogman and there was a diving, a big diving helmet guy as well, wasn't there?
So those, excluding Baron Ironblood, but the Frogman and the Divers were the first generation because they were the versions of the big action man. Right, okay. And then it slipped into being more like GI Joe. And so, when this movie came out, when they'd say, yo, Joe, they dubbed it into yo, actually fast and things like that.
Really? Yeah. So, by 1987, was it still action force in this country then? In the UK?
Oh gosh, I can't remember the years. I didn't have any, I don't have any dates though. I'm in mind. I mean, I remember, weirdly, I did used to buy, there was a comic, wasn't it, Battle Action Force in the UK?
Yes. It was one of those weird newspaper type comics, like Evil and Scream. Yeah. Yeah, I used to get it too.
Yeah, I used to get it too. Yeah, started off just as battle and then became Battle Action Force. But I don't remember the time when it actually all became GI Joe in the UK. Yeah, I think we probably stopped being into action figures at that point.
Oh, yeah, we did come in. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I was like to say we discovered girls, but I think I discovered computers.
Yeah. Well, yeah, I'm sure you had Samantha Fox's strip poker. So, you know, that's kind of a girl, isn't it? That's true.
Yeah. Yeah. Massive pixels. Really pixelated though.
Very good. Yes. So in the movie, Stairs, the voices of, and this is a big list. So I've kind of cut it down a bit.
Michael Bell is Duke, blowtorch, lift ticket and Zamart. Don Johnson. Go on. Has Lieutenant Falcon.
That one blew me away. I'm going to see Don Johnson's name, Papa, at the start of this. Yeah. He's not a great performance, is it, from Don Johnson?
He feels like he's turned up an hour before. They're giving him a script and he's just reading it. Well, the writer says that nobody was in the same room. Usually when they've done the cartoon series, they actually have people in the same studio doing the lines so they can play off each other.
But for the film, everybody was recorded individually. But there's a big difference between the performance that Don Johnson gives and the other big name that you're going to mention in a minute. Right. Yeah.
That's true. Yeah. Yeah. Aferberg hat is Destrel, Christopher Collins, as Cobra Commander, Gung-Hole, Ripper, Peter Colin, Alexander, Nemesis and Farsa.
Ryan Cummings is Dr. Meinbender, BJ Ward, as Scarlett. Dick Gutio, a serpentor, and Burgess Meredith as a globularist. That's the one.
I mean, he's really given it everything, isn't he? Yeah. The writer met him and said he was nice to work with. Yeah.
I'm sure he was. Yeah. Isn't there a, didn't he play someone called GI Joe in an old movie in the 40s? Yeah, he did.
Yeah. I guess I didn't know that anything were aware about the time. I'm sure they were. At least writing people.
I can't recall about the Hasbro talking about other things. But yeah, particularly Don Johnson, that threw me when that name came up. It wasn't expecting that. I sat up, at that point.
Yeah. I sat back down quite soon afterwards. Oh yeah. You're probably about strenuous.
But my back's not been great lately. You know? Headster, it's been in. You're like, oh, too much movement.
Absolutely. You got it, are you ready? Yeah, I said. So let's deploy.
Hang on, what? I've got her that for a while, Colin. I've got her that for a while Colin. Paul, your rip cut, we're going in.
We open with quite a shove is looking logo and a battle between G.I. Joe Cobra to Statue of Liberty. Cobra, Troopers, a parachute, he down. Others are flying in trouble bubbles or in clogged gliders and we get a rock in theme tube.
The first thing I want to say is, were my eyes be seen in the mail? Did I see a Marvel production logo at the start of this movie? Oh, maybe you did, yeah. That sticks in your throat a bit, isn't it?
I didn't see it. It went blurred. Is that the Marvel blindness that you suffer from? Yeah, my Marvel artist.
I love this song. I thought it was great. I think that they should have made the whole thing a musical like this. It's kind of been great.
Just puts songs all the way through it and the characters sing these kinds of songs. This is why you are where you are. People are running in fear as Crimson guards land, one punches out a cameraman. Major blood flies past us through an explosion and as a singer belts out, who can turn the tide?
G.I. Joe, we see Jukiel. Joe, Joe, as he launches from the statue with his jet pack, the dead of Flint joins him and opens fire. A Cobra bat battle, Android trooper explodes.
We see multiple skyhogs take off. At this point, I was thinking, what the fuck am I watching here? Just shit exploded everywhere. Laser guns fire it all over the place.
And it kind of felt a bit team of America issues. Laser's hablasting everywhere, explosions, deathstroke, hands Cobra command, an implausibly large bomb with a countdown at five minutes. The command straps into a clog lighter and attaches the bomb with his countdown now at three minutes to the base of the Statue of Liberty. The battle ranges as the music increases.
You see Alpine squinging onto a Cobra fire bat. He breaks the glass canopy and swings away. Jukes up next as he lands a good punch right on Cobra's chrome dome, sending flying off the statue. Where are you laughing?
I'm not. You've done some work on this. Carry on. This is pretty good.
But luckily he falls onto a trouble bubble piloted by a Viper. But it's not over yet. A scale of DEX torch and Cobra Amare's sail in, buns blazing. A voice over begins as Lady J loves the spear.
I had no idea who any of these people were. It was so confusing. I'd love to see. I'd love to see the collateral damage figures.
How many civilians did we get? I'll mention it. Don't mention it. G.I.
Joel is the codename for America's Durring, highly trained special mission force. Its purpose to defend human freedom against Cobra. Human freedom. Yeah.
Fuck the dogs and the cats. Okay. Mount Tigers. Human freedom.
That's all that matters. Yeah. Absolutely. Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world.
Within seconds of spur, Duke swoops down, grabs the bomb and attaches it to the Cobra commander's flying base ship. Retreat! Retreat screams, commands her ship explodes. And Duke grasping the American flag lands on the head of the Statue of Liberty.
By God, that's how you open a film. You know, over 100 episodes of Retrospection, I've never seen you in this animated column. Oh, we're animated to the film, the animation. Yo, yo, yo, you're enjoying yourself there.
We got to swap insects buzzing. And we get an interesting commentary on life as fish eats insects and a crocodile eats the fish. Yeah. It's a circle of life.
Are we at the castle list? Yeah. Yeah. What?
On screen? Yeah. It's coming out the way. I'm not doing the castle.
It's the action's doing part and part. Ain't got time for that shit. No, the only reason why I bring it up is because I noticed that it said Sergeant Slaughter as Sergeant Slaughter. Easy wrestler.
He was a wrestler at the time. Oh, right. I thought that explains a lot actually in terms of the performance. But I thought we were going for like a curl off in Frankenstein where it's just like a question mark.
I thought there would be something clever. Oh, he's a wrestler. Oh, he's a wrestler. Oh, he's a wrestler.
Yeah. All right. Now, as vehicles move through the swamp into Convai, we see the reflection of the Convai in the Crocodile's Eye. This is not a cartoon.
It's an urge film. I'm not saying anything. Does this seem worth Duke play chest with? Yeah.
Can I just that? Did you watch it though if there was? Oh yeah. Oh, yeah, I would.
I mean, I'm sitting through this. So I would, you know. A tentacle Eye thing pops out of the water and watches them. We then see the Cobra-Carodom and the roof opens.
A squadron of trouble bubbles fly out and head to the approaching Convai. But it sounds stolen from Stairwise. There's lots of sounds stolen from lots of places in this movie. in this movie.
Brattle Stair Calactica Stair was the Stair Trek. Yep, yep. And it was a little bit flash board 1930s, flash board then as well. Nice.
Yeah. Keep the classics. Absolutely, yeah. Deep in the pterodome serpentor, is Lesson pleased with the failed plans from earlier.
Lumber as fools! A greatest enemy is not G.I. Joe, but you are collective incompetence. You point at Cobra Commander, but CC is, I'm a little Cobra Commander from now on.
All right. Yeah. CC isn't having any, not CC, but CC isn't having any of it. Hack wash, default lies with you!
Yeah. You know, he's going to get Well, I'm on my fourth beer later. He's going to get really confused with you talking about CC and all these. I'm going to go to the clue.
He's talking about, so I've got to keep tracking with it as it is. It's about me and characters at this film. But I've got to say as well that what's his name? The Snake Guy?
Serpentor. Serpentor. He's got a bit overboard with that snake moment. He doesn't know you.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, no, I don't think he has. I think he told people he likes snakes and things. And then every bug of stats buying him snake related memorabilia.
You know what happens when you say you like stuff and then everybody just buys you that. You see it like you get too many socks at Christmas. Yeah, but you know, like if you have a dog like a Schnauzer, everyone buys you stuff with Schnauzers on. You know, it's that kind of thing.
OK, I like that idea. I like that idea. That's why he's so angry too. He's just never enjoyed Christmas or his birthdays.
But he doesn't at the same time he doesn't want to let them die, doesn't he? Were he worth it or not? Well, he has to wear him. Yeah, well, psychopaths.
Yeah, that's true. CC's minions think the boss has gone nuts to say such things to Serpentor. But CC continues. He does say to those people speak out and they will back him.
And he says it's Serpentor who is at fault. Serpentor agrees and CC has Deathstroke to step forward to speak for him. Never as a boss. Miss George D's staff as much as this.
Although Paul, there was that time that you. Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Deathstroke needs a throat wash engine badly, doesn't he? Yeah, he needs some tunes.
He needs some tunes, yes. Yeah. Deathstroke says that CC is a buffoon. The commander turns to Dr.
Mindbender, Zamart and Tomax, and the Baroness, and urges them to challenge Deathstroke's remarks. Dr. Mindbender steps forward and points out that Deathstroke forgot to mention that CC is also a coward. There's an incredible array of accidents going on in this sequence.
The Baroness is supposed to be Russian. Dr. Mindbender, I'm not entirely sure. Yeah.
Who's the one with the monocle? Major Blood. Is he French by any chance? I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure at one point you went, like that. Well, you do that, don't you? I've got a string of onions, right? You know, while you're looking it up, I will point out that I had to rewatch this film twice.
Because the first time I watched it, it kind of washed over me. And I'm making notes and I couldn't keep track and keep up with who was who. So much action. Yeah, so much going on exciting, right?
And as I said, there was about a million characters. So I thought, I'm going to have to watch it again. I opened up a page. I found an internet page that actually, I needed, it wasn't just, I couldn't just do it with the names of the characters.
I had to have pictures of the characters next to me as well so that I could remember who was who. She did. Yeah. How else am I supposed to remember?
Yeah. No, Major Blood is not French. He's Australian. All right.
Okay. Yeah. Obviously. Yeah, yeah, of course.
Yes. Anyway, we cut to the tentacle thing moving out of the water. It reveals a glowing mass of a hooded being inside. The figure steps out as orange blue drips from its body.
It approaches the pteroderm's fence that discovers it's electrified. The figure releases a bunch of hungry electric eels that are chomped away through the fence with a lightsaber-sad effect. It is, isn't it? Yes.
I caught that as well. Meanwhile, Cobra Commander is still getting a roasting from his people. I mean, these are not the ones you want to ask a reference to when you're applying for a new job, right? No, no, no.
But why do I get a feeling in a minute that the tone that Cobra Commander is using would be the same tone that you would take if someone was trying to assassinate me. No. Yeah, that's it. Inept.
Insufficient. Inexcusable. But enough about you, Paul. Back to Cobra Commander.
Ooh. Collie's in rose mode. All right. But you never have.
You never not. No, no, no. The CC says it's a lies. Lies.
Lies. Back outside. The figure is still approaching the dome. It dispatches the guard, whose screams are picked up by a televiper in the communication center.
He sounds the alarm. Crimson guards grab their rifles. The creature cuts a hole in the door with its hands. It avoids the guard and takes out some mechanics with a brown bladder squeezed out of your poisonous gas.
I don't know. No idea. No idea. How many of these creatures have she got?
She's pulling them out. And where does she keep them? Well, they're like shapeless blobs so they can mould around her. Is that right?
Yeah, you know about shapeless blobs. I know about dangerous gases as well, but we'll go there. You don't want to go there. No, I don't.
Not anymore. Back at CC's pity party, they realize that the perimeter has been preached on massive sign that says intruder alert. These guards as well, they're not much caught, apparently. No, they're the stormtroopers of the GI Joe world.
There's a worst to come in the second half of this movie, but we'll get there. German sausages? I always do that joke every time. I figure no one's listening.
It doesn't matter. No, they don't remember anyway. I don't remember. Nobody else's.
That's true. CC thinks it's an assassination attempt on serpentor. They want him to stay and be protected with serpentor is in his urge chariot. They say he'll meet the enemy head on.
Mind the bender says if something happens to you, then there is no cobra. CC joins in. Yes. And then the penny drops.
Oh, yes. And something happens to serpentor. It will be tragic. We will find the assassin.
God, we're a commander reminds me of you a lot, Colin. Well, in what way? Do you want me to say? I think you should finish.
Yeah. You mean how he looks good in a uniform? That's it. Yeah, if you like.
Stand solid strength. It's a military tactician. Not backstabber. No, no.
No, okay. Good. Agrita is still on the loose. It attacks a bunch of crimson guards with some seaweed, tentacle thing and acid in the face.
And a face auger is used in a good old fashioned punch. That's right. Yes. Go, the commander sees the creature heading in one direction but tells his colleagues to go the other way.
Back at the comms, they detect the intruder's approach to serpentor's war room. Seal all sectors, but the creature gets through. Serpentor's throne fights explosive darts, but misses the intruder. Serpentor then goes a runner.
It's thrown and chariot loads into the floor. The intruder drops down. Nobody challenges serpentor. This I come out.
That won't be necessary. Replies intruder and removes her hood. Serpentor is confused. That's she seems somewhat familiar.
She reveals that she is part of serpentor's death. So she is part of serpentor's destiny. Where do you were created? My face was etched into your soul.
I am Pifoda and it is time for you to fulfill your destiny. Behold, the broadcast energy transmitter. She shows a projection of the machine. You know, still not got a fucking clue what's going on.
But all right, here you go. We cut to the Alpine Mountains. Horns are sounding. Just in case you didn't know it was the Alpine.
I don't say it. They didn't write Alpine across it. They used someone who played Alpine Horns as a clue to where you. Which is quite good.
Yeah, that's true. I mean, it's the equivalent, I suppose, of sticking a red telephone box if you were in London. I'm in a French burning stripey shirt of someoneions in a baguette. That's it.
That's it. Yeah. That's it. That's two instances of one of us going, no, that's three now in this episode.
Yeah. Well, we can't. That's just cancelled. Yeah.
In France. I don't think we have any friends. I don't think we've got... Fuck them.
I think we've said that before. Atiba Joes are working on the broadcast energy transfer machine which looks like a giant dish with reflecting panels on wheels. Mainframe and dial tone are inserting panels into the machine and commenting on the harms. I think dial tone is kind of sick of his name.
Because, you know, it's a bit out of date now, isn't it? Well, you couldn't really make fun of them. Yeah. I mean, you'd have gone something else now, wouldn't you?
Yeah. Everyone's like, oh, you took your time. You're always the slowest dial told here. It's revealed that the machine will generate unlimited energy.
Anytime, anywhere. Duke seems unsure if it will work. But Scarlett says, let's see if we've wasted a billion taxpayers' dollars. Duke turns on the machine.
Orange blazing energy beams appear to the sounds of white sabers. It works. Suddenly, cross-contries have a vehicle, starts off and drives away. The thickest because of the machine.
Duke turns it off. Cross-country chases after the machine. Stop. Stop and he vanishes over the hill.
Then almost immediately, he comes running back. Go! Go! He's been chased by Cobra.
Serpentor tells him to destroy everything except, you know, the thing we're after. Because that'll be silly. I wouldn't be, I wouldn't be past them though. At this point.
No, no, I think that's why he has to say. Yeah. Yeah. Explosions rock the mountain.
Cobra attacks with dreadnocks helping G.I.Joe. And the force to regroup. Right away, the writer points out that Cobra's retreat. G.I.Joe's never retreat.
They regroup. That's what we do as well, isn't it? We regroup. We regroup.
I'm sorry, episode. He doesn't help, though, does it, Colin? No, no, it doesn't. Serpentor, CC Aggu is servitor referring to him as a lackey.
But they're interrupted by roadblock opening firing on them causing the vehicle to go out of control and crash. Duke orders covering fires you try to get to the energy machine. Cobra attacks him and a laser blast hits his arm. Snow job and quick kick.
Right to the rescue. Take it out the dreadnocks. Right, as I'll then fly off his bike he yells, car, blindie. You know what?
Snow job is one of the best names in this whole film. It really is. I had to rewind it just to make sure you hadn't misheard it. Yeah.
And the dreadnocks are like a biker gang that's led by Zertan, a joint Cobra. Who? Zertan? Yeah, Zertan.
He leads the dreadnocks. Okay. And he's in this movie. Yes.
Okay. I'll tell you where for it Colin. Oh, he could change his face, but he doesn't do it in this film. Of course, probably good for me that he doesn't.
He would welcome you. That's true. Yeah. I do get the impression that's.
I do get the impression that Cobra Commander just spends his day screaming inside his helmet. Yeah, probably. Yeah. Even when there's no one around.
I could be like, you can. Yeah, you're always screaming at your helmet. Screaming at my helmet. Is that what you're saying?
Yeah, your little helmet. You mean a little? Tiny. Don't give me all the secrets away Colin.
Seriously. Right. Duke makes it to the machine and starts to power it up with Cephetos. Sweeps down and grabs him.
Duke pulls out a pin from a grenade. Drops on the chariot then throws himself out. He hits the ground and rolls. The chariot explodes.
Duke makes it back to the energy machine and powers it up. All the Joes weapons are activated. They're attacking Cobra. CC Panics.
Surfer to attacks Duke. And Baroness wants to help. Surfer to fix. He has Duke and passes on it.
But hold. Duke kicks. Surfer to the air. He lands on the BET and is electrified by the energy dish.
Keep going. Baroness goes to rescue Surfer to stop by CC. He screams retreat. What?
Cow? Retreat. Exclaims death strong. Retreat is what they do.
To seek sanctuary in the mountains. Now G.I. Joe is split into two teams. Want to get Cobra.
The others to secure Surfer to under BET. The Joe's catch up with Cobra and open fire. The Joe team chase Cobra's team into the grove. A weird collection of redwood toe-stills.
As quick kicks say, what is this? Twilight Zone? Suddenly Roblox is grabbed by Suffolk and pulled it to the ground. Then the ground opens and at this point shit gets unreal.
Well we might not carry on in that vein. I think we can just get it. Any more sensible? A bunch of people worry about what look like red or white pajamas with masks and capes attack, snake eyes, snow job and quick kick while yelling.
I mean that's no way off putting anointing is it at all. No, no it's not. Shipwreck causes them to back up fast as more of a creature's descend. And the writer loves the shipwreck character.
Why? I just like the way he talks and likes writing dialogue for him. He said that if he had his way the whole film would be just shipwreck on a charlie. That would be quite fun.
No, would. Snow job jumps into his vehicle and goes after CC. But he stopped by a man with wings and talons that cuts through the vehicle. This is Nemesis.
The Joe's are beaten. Cobra Commander talks to the man. It seems he knows him, but the man gives him a slap. You struck me.
Globulus will have your head for this. But Pifoner appears and puts Cobra Commander in his place. He's not having a good day, isn't he? He's not.
Not at all. How about days like this? Have you? You've been slapped by a man with wings before?
Wait, that's going to happen. That's going to happen a lot later. Wait, what are you dead? Is this heaven?
Can I come in? Oh, I've lived a good life. I've been a good boy. Get back down.
