102: Planning for retirement

Mercer, a human resources consulting firm, along with Australian Centre for Financial Studies and Monash University has released its 10th Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index for the year 2018.  

This index compares retirement and pension systems across the world and the news for India is not good. The country finds itself in the lowest category and has slipped from last year's ranking as well. So, what are the shortcomings in our pension and retirement set-up and what are the best options that working individuals can go for to secure our post work life? We discuss with Preeti Chandrashekhar, business leader, Mercer India and Gaurav Mashruwala, financial planning expert.
