#102 When Even the Hero Surrenders...

The "Wounded One" was never the final identity, but neither is the Hero who overcame it. What if the final step of inner work is not becoming the healed version of yourself, but no longer needing that identity at all? In this episode, I explore what happens when our past has been felt, met and integrated deeply enough that it no longer needs to define who we are. Not by pushing anything away, spiritually bypass or leaving parts of ourselves behind. At one point of the journey it becomes more an allowing what still needs our love to find us, then an actually processing it with a specific tool or technique. Integration happens naturally while just being with whatever arises. For me freedom is not when nothing from the past ever touches us again, freedom for me is when even the "healed one" the hero of the journey are allowed to soften back into something much larger..the I Am...
