103. A Scripture Reflection for Hard News | Philippians 4:4-8

from PMDD Redeemed | Emotional Regulation, Cycle Syncing, Monthly Cycle Hormones, Christian Women, Hormone Imbalance · host Lauren Collins | Christian Support For PMDD

Hey friends.   This episode is not a regularly scheduled one, but me sharing some recent difficult news about my pregnancy and inviting you into a process of meditating on Scripture with me when things seem to not go as planned.   Scripture is more than just words. Hebrews 4:12 tells us it's living and active. So when we choose to come to it, through times of joy and sorrow, it will change us. It will strengthen, comfort, encourage and renew us, because the Holy Spirit is always behind it.    I would love for you to be a part of this journey and to also reflect on these verses with me throughout the month of May, even with your own hard news, suffering or trial.   Lauren -------- Next Steps: The Luteal Prep Guide helps Christian women with PMDD prepare for the hardest phase of their cycle by combining practical physiology with grounded, biblical truth. It walks you through supporting your hormones, body and nervous system while anchoring your mind in Scripture, so you’re not just surviving the luteal phase, but approaching it with wisdom, intention, and faith. TomCattt Thomas Patton From the beginning music has prowled with accordion lessons at a young age, followed by sax, blues harp and more recently piano, vocals, song writing and recording. Thomas Patton (AKA TomCattt) credits his mother for his stage name "TomCattt” as she was big on nick names for those she held close to her heart. TomCattt's music is best described as easy listening and sometimes retro, yet with a contemporary mix and feel. Accompanied by the creative tracks of a number of gifted musicians, his first album Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa inspires imagination and finds a way to impress with a unique vocal sound, compelling harmony and gripping melody. The lyrical content is in fact a living reflection of this artists emotional journey that followed leaving love, finding a new love only to lose love once again. Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa was released on June 1st, 2013 and all are invited to Soundcloud, Bandcamp, ReverbNation and Cdbaby where "A Question" is free download and to enjoy TomCattt's website tomcattt.com.
