The most healing moment for me was actually getting my adoption file from the authorities and reading a letter from my birth mother about the teddy bear. It became abundant to me that the teddy bear was a symbol of her love, not a consolation prize. Hi Neighbor, Trauma can lie dormant for a long time, even decades.
