#103 Kate Mclaren

In this episode I sat down with Kate Mclaren, NSW & Australiasian Welterweight Champion to talk about life and her journey from being the 'dumb' kid at school, to cutting hair to becoming a professional boxer. Kate was fresh from calling the action on Fox Sports for the Female No Limt boxing night on the 26th July 2023. For someone who has found boxing later in life, it's great to see the impact that movement had on her mindset and then her motivation (the pillars she espouses for her not for profit work) I think another thing I really enjoyed about this episode is how Kate got herself away from the expectations of 'cutting hair is all you're capable of' to find her own pathway in life (in coming to Australia) Anyway, enjoy!
