from The Amy Edwards Show · host Amy Edwards

Nick Egan, PhD, is a successful coach for entrepreneurs and executives, and has a BA in psychology, MA in comparitive religion, and PhD in Buddhist Philosophy. Nick is a sought-after speaker who encourages organizational and personal growth utilizing positive psychology and Buddhist philosophy. He's the author of SHIFT: The Art of Transforming Limitations, in which he details how to improve life by shifting mental perspectives and, in turn, reclaiming freedom, flexibility, and success.  Nick describes himself as "a mirror that reveals people's inherent greatness." This was one of my favorite philosophical conversations I've had in a long time! I loved Nick's book and his outlook on using shifts to change your life. Today we cover: Actual practices he uses and recommends to enact shifts in your life What it means to be a master (and how he claims not to be) What is Tibetan yoga How to deal with the concept of “reality” Appreciating annoyance  Past lives Tantra and time  Sleep and dream yoga  Mind-only philosophy  Reincarnation in our lifetime  His experiences with psychedelics  And soooo much more! Deep and interesting, I hope you enjoy!
