103: SEVEN CALLS. THREE DEAD. ONE ADDRESS.

from Faith & Fire God & Country · host Faith & Fire God & Country

Nevaeh Petty was four months old. Her father remembered her as a happy baby with beautiful blue eyes. She suffered catastrophic brain injuries and has now died. Bobby Conner Jr., charged in the case, already had child abuse and child neglect convictions. Nevaeh's father says he contacted Tennessee DCS numerous times about Conner being around his daughter. In Anderson, Indiana, Keynan Santos was sentenced to 44 years and one month after Google flagged a CSAM upload and investigators found more than 600 files. He already had two felony child molestation convictions from 2015. He served eight years for those. In Detroit, seven people were shot and three men died at an after-hours location on the west side. Police say they had already responded to seven calls at that address since January and already had an open investigation involving it. Plus: a one-pound premature baby allegedly injured at a Grand Rapids children's hospital, a missing 15-year-old recovered in Michigan after facial recognition matched an online ad, a Roblox indictment in the death of 17-year-old Hailey Buzbee, a 19-year-old in Dearborn charged with CSAM and allegedly enticing others to self-harm, a 1-year-old girl critically shot in Chicago, a Chicago weekend with victims aged 1 to 43, and a list of predators in scrubs, badges, whistles and white coats. Government: the Supreme Court did two opposite things Friday, letting the administration use its revamped voter-eligibility database while blocking Missouri's congressional map. Plus the US-China tariff agreement, Trump rejecting Iran's proposal, a proposed $15 billion Iowa steel mill, and the ICC sovereignty fight. Rabbit hole: five men arrested near RAF Fairford, the British base used by American bombers, on suspicion of terrorism and explosives offenses. What we know, what's weird, and what would actually have to be proven. Today's Scripture is Ezekiel 33, the watchman on the wall, and the line that should end every comfortable Christian's silence: "his blood will I require at the watchman's hand." Faith and Fire: God and Country airs weekdays. God. Faith. Fire. Country. In that order. Always.
