#103 When Nothing Stands Between Us..

What if we don't truly "see" the people we love as often as we think we do? In this episode, I explore how roles, our protective patterns, expectations (even silent ones) and past experiences can actually separate us from ourselves and therefore the people we love. How "caring" for our loved ones often actually turns into scanning, especially with our children. We show up in a "parents role" and not as the authentic being we are and this makes spending time with our kids sometimes less pleasurable and feels like work. What begins to change when we stop looking for our past in another person´s face and start truly meeting the person who is actually there? And what do we need to be able to offer this depth and truthfulness?
