104 | Do projects work with wrestling games?

solopromoter.com - In this episode, we explore the idea of project-based play in tabletop wrestling games like Filsinger Games' Champions of the Galaxy, Legends of Wrestling, Indies, and Go Fight Pow. Instead of running a traditional fed, a project gives you a focused goal—like Shayne's Challenge on Kronos or a title defense tracker. We also discuss Stu Lowry's replay system for career-based championship runs, which applies a Strat-O-Matic-style methodology to wrestling games. Projects are easy to start, great for solo play, and reduce the pressure of continuity-heavy fed booking. Whether it's a one-card story or a career-spanning challenge, projects can reignite your creativity and make the games feel fresh again.
