CJ has devoted much of his life to deep dive exploring lesser known truths surrounding important events in American history.On his fantastic podcast, Dangerous History, CJ recently completed a massive 15 part series on the American Civil War and all the things our history books seem to get wrong, so that's what we'll be digging into today. Before my conversation with Prof Killmer, I admittedly knew so little about the American Civil War, it's staggering. The south liked slaves, the north didn't like slaves, the north elected golden boy, Abe Lincoln to fight the evil south, and BANG! No more slaves and we all lived happily ever after, right?
