In this episode, Michelle Hoogveld talks about her creative process and how she went from working a 9-5 to living her passion of being a world renowned Artist and Muralist. She talks about her favorite projects, travel experiences and how she sets herself up to be her best every day. Michelle Hoogveld is a contemporary painter and muralist, working with private collectors, brands and in public spaces around the world. Michelle's artwork explores the interplay between abstract shapes, bold colours, and realistic images of people, animals and elements from nature. Prominent within her work are themes of connection and love, emphasizing the relationships we form with others, the environment, and the space to express our innermost thoughts and emotions. She continues to expand her professional art practice, adding colour to as many surfaces as she can. Graduating with honours, Michelle received her Bachelors of Science in Visual Communication and Design at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida and her Bachelors of Art Education at the University of British Columbia.
