Having lived a difficult life, she turned to alcohol in order to find comfort, release and numbness. As her relationship with alcohol evolved, she began to feel disconnected from her own raw experience of life, joy and feeling alive. After quitting, Laura discovered a sober awakening that led her on a path of continued self discovery and helping others.
