Vineet of Fun Travel recently asked how he can target people living near him as most of his business comes from outside his destination. The simple answer is, Facebook. Facebook is hands down the best marketing platform to target locals as no other platform allows you to target specifics like Facebook can. Local, gender, age, interests… You can create ads to cater for just about anything as long as you know who to target. The less broad and more targeted you make it, the more likely you are to hit the right people. Facebook also offer AB split testing so if you are unsure, run a few ads to see which one performs better.
