#104: Tarot and Gaming series: Interview with Satyros Phil Brucato

In this episode, we used our random character generator to conjure up “a satyr line developer” by the name of Satyros Phil Brucato, an award-winning author. We discuss his sordid history of gaming, from his involvement with White Wolf Game Studio as the line developer for Mage the Ascension, and Sorcerer’s Crusade games to creating the urban fantasy Deliria, Faerie Tales for the New Millennium. We talk about the Mage: The Ascension tarot deck and using playing cards to create unique resolution systems. As a bonus, he tells us more about the Dreamdancer Oracle, a collaborative production with Stephanie Pui-Mun Law.
