1040 BC: Saul, the Amalekites and Generational Sin

After defeating Israel's enemies on every side, Saul turns his attention erroneously inwardly in a campaign against the Gibeonites breaking the long standing treaty with these people, and upon the word of the Lord from Samuel, he attacks the Amalekites.
