In this episode, Krista Hengesh, founder of Live Salted—a college and millennial women’s ministry – talks about the incredible amount of faith required to step out into what God has called you to do, especially when you don’t know what the results are going to be. We cover the reality of the spiritual warfare we’ll face when we are walking in His will and seeking to make Him more famous. This episode offers the reminder that you are a daughter of the King and that when you “step out of the boat,” as Krista says, and trust Him with your dream, your life, your everything, your dependence on Him will naturally need to increase and thus will grow your intimacy with Him. Krista is a dreamer at heart taking 1 Corinthians 2:9 at its word and believing if she has thought it, God has to out do it. Krista loves all things outdoors, playing with the hypothetical, discovering new places, and digging deep with others in conversation. She believes in the power of scripture, and she draws perspective for her everyday knowing she is living in light of eternity and her time here on earth is temporary and precious. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington where she runs Live Salted full time while partnered with a local college ministry located at the corner of the University of Washington. She believes it is the biggest blessing to be able to do online ministry while being so invested in a city and its people.
