#105 How to overcome self-doubt (so you can finally put yourself out there!)
from The Unconventionalists with Mark Leruste · host Mark Leruste
Here's the deal. In every story there needs to be a constant tension between the yearning for the Hero to win the day, with also the possibility of the Hero failing in the process. It's what makes stories interesting. It's what makes us, the audience, want to cheer the Hero on. And in someway, it's what keeps us paying attention and wanting to help the Hero achieve their goal(s). Because there's always a possibility that it may fail. But there's also a possibility that it may work. No matter how crazy that may seem. That, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call, The Doubt. And if you've been experiencing a level of self-doubt lately when it comes down to launching your projects, then what I want to share with you is this: Over the last ten years I’ve sat down across hundreds of incredibly inspiring people from all walks of life and interviewed them about their journeys: their ups and downs, dreams and aspirations, failures and successes. From unconventional politicians, to forward thinking CEOs, best-selling authors to world record breakers, caring influencers to maverick entrepreneurs. And I have yet to meet the woman or man who did not have some form of doubt along the way. That’s the honest truth. Doubt is absolutely normal and part of the journey. And today, I'm here to tell you what you can do to get over it. Hope it helps, if it does, please do let me know over on social media by tagging me @markleruste in your post / stories. Can't wait to hear what you launch as a result of it :) Mark Subscribe and rate our show on iTunes: www.theunconventionalists.org SHOW NOTES www.theunconventionalists.com/episode/105 GET IN TOUCH Website: www.theunconventionalists.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/markleruste YouTube: www.youtube.com/markleruste Facebook: www.facebook.com/markleruste Twitter: www.twitter.com/markleruste LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/markleruste
