After fleeing a troubled life on Earth, Claire ended up stranded on a forgotten spaceport at the edge of civilized space. Without galactic citizenship, she had only one way to survive: working security cases for the local station while she slowly earned the right to legally exist among the stars.  Claire has an advantage: humans are naturally curious. We ask questions. We follow threads. We keep pushing when something doesn’t add up… Her latest case should have been routine. A cosmic ambassador was murdered, but to solve it, she’ll have to go places she’d rather not go and work with space mobsters she’d rather arrest. But some deals fall through, and some mysteries go on even when the files are closed.  Waypoint begins where most detective stories would end.
