#106 - Jessica McLaughlin

from thamichaelated · host thamichaelated

Jessica explained the way the Indigenous food circle works and gave us insight on many details. From Spruce tips too Beaver meat and the way we can learn from the land surrounding us. From traplines and the way we feel about nature. The Indigenous Food Circle does a lot of work for the communities and as well for everyone of us. We can observe, listen and learn. We can grow together. In many ways I am fascinated by the knowledge and the way of life I got to know about today. Jessica also talked about her other job where she does similar work for all of Northern Ontario. From 14 First Nations in the Indigenous Food Circle to 103 Indigenous Communities. Thank you so much for being on the show today Jessica!
