106. John the Baptist was a Real One

from I Like Birds Podcast · host Zach Rippey

John the Baptist get's so overlooked in our faith that I wanted to dedicate an entire episode to him. He was a relative of Jesus who prepared the way for the Messiah! He lived a life that teaches us to this day how to be a Christian. He not only leaped for joy in the womb when Mary and Jesus walked in the room but this dude surrendered himself and had all eyeballs on Christ. John did some epic stuff in the wilderness, the Jordan River, prison, and even went toe to toe with King Herod who was doing some sketchy stuff with his dead brother's wife. (Hilarious moment on the pod) This episode has quite the laughs in it and we dive deep on one of my favorite prophets! I love this episode and I hope you do too! I also get real on the first 20 minutes just talking life and my walk with Jesus! The message starts at 22 minute mark. Enjoy my fellow birds Much love! Let's get back into listening to Birds weekly shall we. #Share This Episode If you'd like to get a shirt or a hat you can still do so at ILikeBirdsMinistry.com/shop Follow us on Instagram: @ILikeBirdsPodcast23
