In our message today we looked at the context of this section of scripture in Matthew 18, and found out that it is indeed Israel that Jesus is referring to. Getting the correct context of any scripture is very important, because otherwise you can end up in spiritual error. Next we studied the heart of the text. Oh, how precious Israel is in God’s sight. Israel was a very spiritually lost nation in God’s eyes when Christ came to earth, yet in spite of their rebellion towards God, Jesus tells us here that, He came to seek and save that which was lost.
