106: SCREEMO and the Israel Startup Nation

from The Startup Junkies Podcast · host Startup Junkie

SCREEMO helps brick and mortar marketers to connect physical customers to the omnichannel using digital gamified experiences in-store to create a call to action on the consumer's mobile and enhance the customer experience. Shai Bargil, who leads operations for SCREEMO, and Adir Zimerman CEO, join us to share more on their innovative platform to bring advertising to life. The founder team started in Israel, and recently moved operations to Bentonville, AR after catching the eye of Walmart CEO, Doug McMillon in a product demo. In Israel, it’s required for all able-bodied individuals to serve in the armed forces, usually for 2 years. We enjoy learning about how this shared experience shapes the individuals, and how its implications have played into shaping an entrepreneurial ecosystem with more startup companies per capita than nearly anywhere in the world.
