Fergus Hodgson is a New Zealand-born financial economist, author, and geopolitical analyst specializing in Latin America, fiscal policy, and alternative investments. Hodgson has held roles such as founding editor of the PanAm Post, Director of Fiscal Policy Studies at the John Locke Foundation, visiting scholar at the American Institute for Economic Research, and director of Econ Americas, a consultancy focused on finance, jurisdictional arbitrage, and stakeholder management. He publishes the Impunity Observer (geopolitical intelligence on rule of law and economic development) and has authored books including The Latin America Red Pill and Financial Sovereignty for Canadians.
