107: Negotiation and Helping Debt Ridden Client

Josh Richner has been helping people get out of debt and improve their credit since 2008. He founded a debt relief company in 2012 and began working with consumer rights law firm, National Legal Center, in 2016. He led their team of negotiators before stepping into his current role as the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator for the firm. He now collaborates with companies, attorneys and law firms around the country with the aim of solving their client's debt-related difficulties.   In this episode, we discuss:   The ease with which debt can accrue as a young adult, particularly since personal finance and spending is not taught in any school.   The laws around debt collection are very thin, so what can a lawyer or expert do to help?
