There is the more traditional option, where a publisher picks up your manuscript and they put it into print. This is the most economical option for the writer because they are putting all the money up front, but that doesn't mean they will do all the marketing for you. The other option is to self-publish. You can self-publish and then print copies of your book, or the other route is to self-publish, but have a print-on-demand option.Printing inventory is not budget friendly, not to mention paying for the design, the layout, and the editing, but you do own the rights to your book.
