107. Shift Happens when we look for the "try"

It is so easy to correct our kids over and over. Especially when it's the same repetitive behavior that is beyond annoying. However this is RESULTS focused correction. And when we don't get the results we want, we get angry, we get annoyed, and OUR default pattern of reaction comes pouring out. *And lets be honest, probably with greater intensity than it deserves because of our emotional trigger. In this week's shift happens episode I talk about shifting away from the results and looking more towards the TRY. When we notice our kids trying we can see that they are in fact shifting in the direction of the results we're after. But we're giving it time and we're not loading on the shame.  This is a quick mental reframe and I hope it serves you as much as it served me! GET REGULATED!
