The documentary “Tears Teacher” screened at Sundance and Hot Docs, and was acquired by the New York Times. It was featured on The Japan Times, Thrillist, etc and has already played in more than 25 festivals. Upon graduating from the University of Toronto, the Vancouver Film School and Capilano University, Shen worked as a camera assistant in Canada.
