Welcome to the Service Watch Radio, episode number 108. I'm Skate Companion for Nijas, New Video Park, need that. As always, I'm here alongside me. It's the back feel, real hickey.

Over in Canada, back over in Canada, mate. It's like I never left. You're a good mate. Yeah, doing great, man.

How's it going there? Yeah, not too bad. Not too bad. Getting colder, but probably, again, you're probably winning on that front now.

Yeah, stepped out of the plane. Well, no, I haven't put, stepped out of the airport, mate, a brisk minus 23. Nice. Straight to the crows and nostrils.

Yeah, it was a shot to the system. Yeah, that is cold. We've got Nijas video park lined up for us. We will let the listeners, so you have a little sneak peek at the 7U.

I have, yeah, so I haven't had a little sneak peek. Yeah, I haven't seen this yet. I've seen all I've got in front of me is the thumbnail for the video. I can see a little cartoon version of Nijas, which I kind of like.

I kind of like the look of that. So if you haven't joined us for a skate companion before, it's basically, we watch a video park, commentate on it a little bit. You'll get our first reactions from it, give you a little breakdown of it as well. We'll let you know where to press plays, we can all listen together.

But if you don't do it, it's not the end of the world, is it, mate? There's no, there's no strict rules of how to do this. We're just going to watch the video part and enjoy it, hopefully. So if you go up onto, if you get yourself onto thrashomeggazine.com or YouTube, type in Nijas Houston, I'm sure that'd be the first thing that comes up.

The video part's called Need That. So if you need to type in a few more things to get there, we might put a link in the description. I used to do it. I used to do it a lot, but yeah.

No excuses, really. Anyway, so get yourself lined up on that. And then I'll count down three to one, play together. We'll have a little watch along.

You can listen along to us if you're doing something. We can't watch the video. So here we go then. So it's like SB, Nijas Houston, need that.

And we'll play in three, two, one, play. Oh, look, so. Smith down. Looks like El Toro, mate.

Look at the cartoon version of El Toro. Yeah. And now he's jumping back up there, gives you the title, need that. And we're in.

Nijas pushing. Big set. Oh, shit. You just got away with that.

Just got away with that down. What was it? 15 step there, mate? Yeah, a very, very big set.

Straight back up there. Really? Nice. Every damn hustling fucking tune going.

Nice one. What a throwback. Beautiful. That's the rail that I'm sure Rowley literally did that in really, sorry.

Oh, sorry. It's been a long time. Oh, wow. Front feeble down.

So big old stairs. I mean, over that was an overcrook down. Another good 20 stair, 50-50 down along. It's not a fucking ever going to see.

Big, that 50-10 go. I will say from the other video, mate, that we did this game companion on, this does have a different feel to it. This does feel like a step up. That business mode, Nigel.

I suppose, you know, you've got to give you a good ship tonight rather than yourself. That's a big front front. Oh, beautiful front board. Lovely camera angle here, right up.

Underneath with the nose going in a round rail. Almost flat. Wow, it was on a roof there. I would not recommend that.

You're going to ruin so much roof. Big calf, captain. One second, though. Oh, wow.

Back to my backside out. Long rail. Switch, switch tail. Oh my goodness.

We're going to have to go back and hit these clips, will properly break them down. Oh, dangerous. Dangerous. Up and over.

Then revert. Oh, half cab. Oh, backside. Oh, flip front blunt.

Power. Let's say power pushes steady pushes. Not only here. Oh, wow.

Very nice. Caswell, Barry Spot right there. Oh, switch, here. Oh, five.

Oh. See, he hasn't done many video parts, mate, where he puts these lines. You will see this on Instagram. We put some big heavy hit lines.

It's nice to see him hit his lines filmed legitimately, if you know what I mean. Yes. Switch, here, front board. That is unreal.

Very smooth and fast. He does have a beautiful switch, he'll make it. It's perky as a motherfucker. And he's showing off his revert skills out of his rails, isn't he?

Quick, not only here, up and over the rail. Yellow rail. Oh. Hitting the variables there for you, mate.

You must appreciate it. You'll have a little barrel here over a hydrant gap. Yeah, that's what we like. Fucking hell.

Fake you up and over. Five oh. Yeah, like I said before, this is a different caliber of. Oh, that big spin was beautiful.

These lines switch front heel. Middle of, yeah, lovely. Got away with that one. All the bales.

Very nice. Big front board to fakey, mate, is such a good looking trick. Oh, my God. Crick up, along and down.

Oh, my God. I don't know how he went down that road. I thought he could clear it. Easy.

Yeah, here we go. Wow, alley-ooped backside flip over his motorbike. Now we'll be here. Wiggling out here, going down switch down his camera and keep up.

So song's finished. We hitting a new song here. We just having some silence. We're going PJ Lad style here.

Huge switch here. Thanks for the overhand rail. Thank you frontside hill. We're going to lose control here.

He's got a bit of speed. Oh, he's blessed us. He's blessed the wisdom there. Well, and we don't actually get to see.

He's a huge and do many switch front side flips, do we? He's not one of these. It's not, I wouldn't say that's in his arsenal, but obviously it is. There we go.

He's going to bless with some hip hop now. I say hip hop, new. New song. New school.

Yep. Oh, lovely. That's a nice. All the way around with that Smith.

I'd like to go a little bit closer on that one, but not going to knock him too hard. Yep. Biggy foot down like a five six set. Fakie front big spin blunt.

Oh, fakie big spin back clip. Oh, the classic. The classic. Nolly Hill nose.

Hit the crew up there as well. Oh, very nice. Oh, we should show enough now. All of them.

Yeah. Yep. Of course, Nolly inwards down a huge, huge set. Gaps are back to you.

Wow. Wow. Very nice. Nolly over crooks down a huge fucking rail.

50-50 round corners. Heel crook by. I don't know who that is. I can't.

Don't know what I'm saying. Let's be a homie. Another homie hitting the fucking long, old fucking front crooks around the corner there. That was delicious.

This is such a heavy part. Such a heavy part. And he's blessed us with another line here. Nice, cool yard, smooth ground.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Flip front 50. Nice.

Really backed up with a nose. Backed up with a crook. Oh, flip nose grind. Man.

Fuck flip. Fucking back nose blunt down a good 15 round rail. Switch flip, which looked like a try to get a tail out of it. I'm not sure if you got the tail.

Look nice. Clean as you like. A trade nose blunt on a bump to picnic bench. You're still going.

And again, back nose blunt down a heavy hand rail. Switch front board. Oh, hold on to that one. Flip on board.

Switching back in front. Oh, we at Clipper. We at Clipper, mate? Yeah, rolling in switch to Clipper.

Oh, clean as you like. Switch. He'll flip front by the front tail. Oh.

Back around, back around to regs, mate. That was such a beautiful trick. Wow. We know he's got that.

That is such a, oh, he's rolling up again. It's on. Roll up. No, he'll be all back, please.

It's a fakey. It's a go-to game. We're just getting blessed again for another one. Oh!

Nice front heel to switch 50. Oh, my God. Yeah. Oh.

And that was going to get, mate. He's starting to forget. He's starting to forget. He's starting to forget with another line here.

Flip back tail to regs. He's pushing towards us now. Is this the third song? Oh, blessed 5-0.

Huge. That is absolutely fucking massive. Yep. Here we go.

We're in. Yeah, third song. Third song. Nice backside power slide.

Fucking Andrew Reynolds, eat your heart out. That kid. Huge kick flip. I personally, mate, I think this must be as best part as ever.

Yeah, huge, huge. I want an angle. That's danger. Big danger drop on the other side.

Oh, got away with that one. That was what, so this is where we got the back tail from his, the end of his last part was the back tail down this rail. Switch. Huge.

Switch tail. Back to regs. Switch backside off the curve. Very nice.

Here we go. Oh, front shove 50. What's he going for the nose going there, mate? What are you saying?

Maybe that's just how he catches him. Do you know what I mean? Oh. Here we go.

Oh, he's just going around the corner there. That is ridiculous with the reverb mate with the fucking mate. Yeah. That's switch, switch, cook.

Round. No, that was regs. That was insane. Yeah, another huge handrail.

Oh. Oh, blessed. Second angle on the full cab lip. Oh, gap out.

Oh, he's just made that as well, mate. Just made it to parts of 50 on the second rail down the double there. What did he need? Nolly frontboard, beautiful.

That's a 17 set that they did. Yeah, the face mount was on. Yep. The Senzo, Trey Flip, and Foy to Foy get something there as well.

Oh. That's unreal. That's... And this is a Ryan Bobbi-air spot from Miss Ledger.

Miss Ledger was maybe the audio video. Blunt. Yeah, switch front blunt. That's a red.

You can see he's had a heavy battle with that because his white hoodie was fucking gross. Yeah. Are you great? Back 50 up a rail across a little top and down a huge set.

Yeah, it's like 220 stairs making a pyramid. And he's round rail, handrail. And he's 50 down. That's got the end of surely.

Yeah. Like logo up there. Jesus. And Travis filmed and...

Oh, there's another little over critical what we saw earlier. I know they're just going to hit. So they're going to hit with all the fucking bangers there, mate. Well, just more after credits skating here.

That put out the sunhouse. Well, there we go, mate. I mean, yeah, Nigel Houston, you must be a very happy man with that video part. Obviously, not a SB part.

12 minutes and 27 seconds long. Three songs, pretty much. Yeah, three songs. I'll come straight to you with that, mate.

That's got a bit surely, that's contender, right? That's a year. Huge. Huge.

When I first watched this video, I wanted to watch it, compare with the other one. I was actually impressed as another Nigel part, as Jono was saying, not even thinking about that when you're thinking of his best part. This is probably one of Nigel's best parts. There's so many fucking bangers going on.

It's hard to concentrate on. Yeah, it's one of them. I mean, this is definitely a hyper. If you want to go skating, stick any section on it.

You don't need to hold 12 minutes. You could just get yourself going with this. Because there's so many different songs. It's nice that you've got three songs as well.

It's nice that you've got three different flavours in there. You've got the more hip hop, more kind of new school, which again, he's probably, you know, he has more of a supposed relationship with a new era skater rather than kind of the old guard that maybe shit on them a little bit too much than they should. Because this is why I've always kind of, don't get wrong. Nigel's not my favourite fucking skateboard time.

But if you can't respect what this old boy can do on a skateboard, there's something wrong with you. You can do shit and no other fucking history is done. He is incredible. His 50s are the straightest 50s going, mate.

I mean, there's no twisted fucking 50 here. He is tight-trucks, snappy fucking tricks. And when you can lay the law down on some of those, you know, he's doing Chris Coleman movers, mate, where you put yourself onto a rail, where you've already twisted your body in one direction and then you will sweep back. I mean, I'll never ever be able to get anywhere near that sort of caliber.

But everyone can appreciate how hard it is to do a reaver or a 180 on something where you should go the other way. Your natural body weight is going to shift you round the other way. And he is the king of either, he can go the same way. He can swing it to fakie, mate.

You know what I mean? He's done that loads in this video. He can hold it where it'd be easier to go to fakie or he can hit it and then anti-reaver and go the other way. You know, like we saw in that, I'm trying to see if I can get that time stamp up.

They might be quite difficult in 12 minutes, but that nose grind or the crook that he goes kind of, it is, 10 minutes 21. So he is, just a little play out. So he hits, he's on a round rail, which has a curve on it. So he kind of hits it at angle on the straight piece, hits the crook.

Goes round the corner of this crook and then you can see his hips start coming round the other side of him and he's ready to fucking slip that backside reaver out of it. It's such an incredible, because with that sort of situation, mate, surely if you don't get your hips aligned and you try and pull yourself round, you'll probably get a fucking land on that rail. That is actually one of the tricks I'm talking about, who else is doing that? That's move on something like that as well.

And you know it's one of those things where like, I almost went the first time I wanted to watch this, wanted to not necessarily target but have something to fucking nitpick about and fucking other than some of the clothes he's wearing, I don't even really get a shit about, there's nothing to fucking complain about. The only thing I can complain about, the Rick Ross song, Hustle and Sick, but it was the fucking clean version, there's no swearing, and it's like the radio clean version. Other than that, fuck, it was a fucking ridiculous part. Yeah, I'm with you.

I think the only thing I could probably nitpick if we were going to talk about the music there, mate. Obviously the first tune was in, I think it was in the first skate video game. So everyone had, if you hadn't heard that song before, anyone who played that game was in the skateboard, you know, how deep you were into the skate world. You would have probably heard that tune.

Just like our generation with the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, two songs. Yep. You know, with fucking, you know, with some of the niche songs in there, but because you heard it in your video game, you played it fucking, you know, a thousand hours on that game. You know that tune.

So that was a great, you know, that's a great market to start off with. I get it why you picked, I don't know that second song mate at all, but I get why he would pick it. I would be popular, people probably know that song. Yeah, it's probably close to his own scene as well, which I mean.

And then the third song, I would say the third song mate, I know it's a bit more kind of ambient, a bit more kind of fluid, you know, it's a nice, it's a cool track, I think we're wrong. But I think for his last, like for the last song, I think he could have, you know, had, like for example, Artosari having like a David Bowie tune, right? To him back to back. If you can pick a more iconic song, I'm not saying go like completely mainstream, but if you went for something that was, you know, a legendary tune, you'd almost go hand in hand with a skate in there and he could propel himself, I think he's actually, he could hurt himself getting that skate over the year by not picking that third tune, being like that crescendo tune.

Yeah, just really fucking smashes it out. Yeah, just stays in there. You know, it's almost like, you know, I go back to like Jeff Rowley from, you know, choosing the Never Walk Alone, you know, Jim. Although that song is like the, you know, it's a Liverpool song, I don't support Liverpool and, but it still, it still works.

And I still respect it. Exactly like you're saying mate, it is powerful. And I just think you need to get that, you're almost, I mean, don't get wrong, you get the goosebumps watching them anyway. So let's not beat round of bullshit.

We are making the fuck out of this. But we can't on a five-star fucking video mate. Do you know what I mean? You can, you can chip away at it.

But I just think you could have had someone just saying, getting in and saying, maybe let's pick this fucking heavy hit song that everyone's going to remember. Yes, yeah, no definitely. Like you're saying, there's just not much we can really say about it. And fuck, you know, this is so many bangers.

It's really hard to just pick out tricks that will go here. Yeah, let's let me just jump us to the eight minute mark, because it's a solid number for everyone to get to sink in. This is where he's sitting up in a switch stance on the little bit wood at the top of the clipper. Yeah, clipper hubber.

And you see him in switch and you think, right, what is in his arsenal? And I was kind of expecting maybe like a switch switch tail or something, maybe like a little reverb, swing around afterwards. That's sort of deal. But when you see the percuminous, mate, the catch and the flick of that fucking, that switch heel, to get yourself ready to get into a, to get a good front tail mate, we all know you got to get above that motherfucker.

You know, you can't leave that the chance where it's going to ping off the side because you're going to break your fucking lead angle because that angle is going to miss and then you're going to land on the stairs set and probably break your ankle. It's quite simple. And he just pings that, pops that right fucking perfectly. It springs up.

He's ready and waiting. I mean, I don't actually think it's looking that when he tries. I think he's I think he's hit that early. I'm saying 10, 10 attempts at, you know, chucking out there a couple of times, maybe locking one on there and then those three just to get it down.

You know, he might have even hit a sketchy one earlier. But the perfection of that land mate as well, how fucking bolts that is. I mean, you know, he's looking at your nose, but it's, it's such a, you know, it's perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Yeah. And then straight afterwards rolling up switch again, we're thinking we're going to get the, you know, just the slow move. Yeah, exactly. You're not expecting him to do it again.

And then hits the like, Nolly backside. He'll tell. He'll tell. To Feiki.

Beautiful trick swings it right round. You know, that was just such a, he was having a good day. You know, he was having a good day. And then this one though, mate, like the, the Nolly front heel, yeah, over top of something, right?

And then hit, like you said, it's the switch five, all nose grind. Whatever, whatever you take, you go and board. What trick? Like what that's a blessed trick.

You know, seeing that sort of trick, mate, again, you don't see that trick on much, let alone down one of the most holiest of holy fucking spots. You know, and I just, I get it. This was like the little kind of prelude to get into that third song and they wanted to get us pumped for it. And it, you know, it does definitely work.

But I think you put on the back end of the video as well. I think because of the spot itself, it probably gets a bit more credence and a bit more kind of credibility than that 50 over the pyramid, even at the 50s mad. That 50 is mad, but I just, I think the Thrasher lovers and the, the soapy fucking pentagram motherfuckers over there. They like people go into the holy, the holy fucking spots.

I do as well. I do as well. But I do appreciate a new spot that no one's fucking skate before. Yeah, definitely.

It's always nice to see something new as well. But yeah, it's definitely good to see what you can do on the whole spot as well. Yeah, because it's, I mean, and he has picked a look. Let's go, let's go early doors here, mate, as well.

There's a, maybe it's in the first really big set that he kind of bails on the non-eat board side of every does. I'm sure it looks very similar. I think I said at the time, it's the spot that Rowley hits. There's a front lip in his opening line of really sorry.

I think it is. He hits like a tray before end of something, swings around a corner and then, then hits it. I think the next cut away as well is an ollying that says as well. Ollie's it and there's a big kind of puma.

I think it must be some sort of mascot or logo of the, of the, of the university or college. Yeah. On the wall. Do you know what I mean?

I'm sure it's that spot. It looks very similar. So again, he is, he is classically trained in skateboard and mate. He does know his shit.

It's like Chris Cole is your favourite skater again. You must know your shit because Chris Cole's been around longer than people fucking, you know, want to remember. You know what I mean? He is just, he's one of them and it's nice that he's, he's obviously this is a homage to fucking all of those boys set him up to be this pro.

Definitely. You know, I'm probably missing out. I'm sure Reynolds has hit this. He's probably hit some crazy shit on this.

There's no doubt, right? Yeah, definitely. You know, Tommy Sandoval must have hit something on this shit. Yeah.

So, you know, even though Nigel might wear some fucking heinous tie-dye fucking hoodies mate, and you know, not my scene at all, not my scene at all. You've got to respect them on the fucker. Yeah, 100% can't, can't fuck a nock it. And he does, yes, I'm sorry mate.

I'm just, I'm just going, he does this, I'm fucking sure he does the same thing that Rowley does. He hits the, he hits a little, a little chink on the, on the rail first. Just comes off of that, comes around the corner, then hits the rail. So we'll have to go back and have a little look at the, the Jeff Rowley.

Yeah. See if it's the, uh, see if it's the same swap. That is. That is.

I'm going to be a, you remember that switch hill, flip, front, Smith? Was that close after? Like medium, large, sorry. Was that a second song?

I don't know. I've been, I've been through for a bit, but I'm not been playing close attention. I'm trying to talk about, because it's a quick one. It's okay, isn't it?

A quick one. Well, while we're looking mate, I'm just, just on YouTube. Yeah. Just skipping past an ad for eBay here.

And I'm just on Jeff Rowley's video part now for really sorry. And I'm just, I'm just, I think it's really sorry anyway. It might even be sorry, but I'm just, so I'm just listening to Lemmy say all his bullshit now. Yeah.

In the, in the black. Yeah. Because he hits that massive gap. Yeah.

This isn't this video part, is it? Well, maybe because this is really sorry is the, never walk alone, right? So maybe let's just go to, sorry. The listeners like, we already checked.

It's, yeah, sorry. We've already seen it. We need to sit first and the right. We need to sit.

Well, here we go then. Yeah, this is it. Yeah. So Rowley hits the very hill down the, down the set that Nigel hits first of all.

Yeah. Comes around the cameraman stays. So he doesn't kind of go with him. The camera and just shifts over because the other, the other stairs that's kind of down, down past next to the other little, the little kind of six or seven or whatever it is.

Yeah. Flies down. Big front lip. Yeah.

What a homage to it. You know, that again, a man after moon heart, obviously Rowley being one of my fucking idols. I've been very lucky enough to have met him and been, been such a sounder boy. You know what I mean?

Yeah. He's the one, uh, obviously, actually, it's been with me a lot when I've met a decent amount of these pros. She said he's the one that I definitely kind of fangled over. Like you can see it in my face that he was the one that kind of, that really kind of took me back and was like, this is, I mean, Penny's different.

You know, Penny, we kind of, we've lived with Penny, you know, it's a bit, it's a little different, but Rowley, um, and just talking to me, you had a lot of time, you know, I mean, a lot of time for people and, um, as long as you, you know, don't, don't get in his, in his grill, you know, don't kind of fucking get in the way and just shove shit in people's faces and stuff like that and get people to sign stuff. He did sign for me. Like wait is for, because I was assigning. So you wait for a sign in me, you don't go and get in the sign shit.

You know, there's not me with an XLT in my fucking backpack mate, you know, getting into sign that although if I did have one, I'd probably. That would be the time to do it. People pick those times. You do.

Well, I was, you know, maybe doing a sign and you know, I mean, that's the perfect situation. Yeah, it's not going to love it. He's ready to sign shit. You know, I mean, he's ready when he's chilling.

Fuck it. You know, if you look, maybe go chat to him, but test the water. See what he's saying. Yeah.

I think I said before, but I'll say it again. I'll be a dead horse. Again, another one of my fucking idols skating in Venice Beach. I haven't a game of skate with I wouldn't, it might have been some like spanky, but I wouldn't be able to tell you, you know what I mean?

Cause it's someone would longer hair anyway, but they were, you know, they'll probably 100 metres away from me, maybe 50 metres away from me. But he was in his, he was in his little safe space there mate. And rather than go up there and interrupt him and do that, I'll just look from a distance. Just an observer and just an observed because if you go up there, it might be cool.

It might be cool. But again, at the same time, he's enjoying himself. Yeah. He doesn't, you don't always need a bother people.

It's not your right to bother someone. You don't have that. So one of them, you just see it from a distance. It's like, I don't know if you've ever watched, probably used the exact same analogy as well, but it's probably about 50 episodes ago.

So whatever, no one can remember that. But if you've ever watched the film, what would it be? It's got Ben Siller in it. Yeah.

And it's about this. I've always got a vivid imagination. He works for Time magazine. He's the pitch Reddit or, you know, you pick, yeah, he's a pitch Reddit.

And there's a scene where he's trying to track down Sean Penn, who was the photographer for this, for the last Time magazine cover or something. And he's tracking down to him layers or something. He's taking a picture of this really rare mountain leopard or mountain lion weather. And he sees a mountain lion, Sean Penn, the photographer sees it.

Camera's framed on the mountain lion. And he doesn't click. He doesn't click. He just looks, he watches the mountain lion.

And that, you know what I mean? That's heavy. That's not like a, but that's what I was kind of doing. I didn't need to, I didn't take a picture of it at the time.

You know, I just, it was just really nice to just look, see something that's inspired you and made you, you know. Well, that's it, mate. Sometimes, you know, what's, what's cooler guys, like having a quick picture with someone who you do really fucking admire or maybe getting a quick signature or whatever. Or not in a weird way, because everyone who does skate or has skated or anything similar before, if you've done it for a while, people watch because people are interested, because you're doing something probably pretty cool or trying it and they might be able to do it, might not.

Everyone likes to watch something interesting and nothing, sometimes better than being able to share a little view and moment with one of the greatest people to get on a skateboard or just have a quick picture, I think, being able to watch someone like that. That you've never, you know, I mean, being from England or from a totally different country. You never get to see that unless you're lucky enough to get, you know, to watch someone demo or whatever. That might not ever happen.

You know what I mean? So that's probably cooler. You know what I mean? Like to have that memory.

Just a quick, you know, this bump and a picture if possible, whatever. Right? Yeah. And I think it's always, it's like, there's a right time for it.

You know, Rowley, yeah, I did get a picture of him. You know, I don't even, I don't even think I've ever taken a picture of Tom Penny. I've got a picture of Tom Penny. I'm sure the super event is a picture of me and fucking Musker in Tom Penny.

Not me, like this. So I've been blessed with some pictures. Yeah, I got one of all you guys, but that was like, oh, I'm taking a picture of everyone. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. So I've never gone up to Tom. You know, he'd be cool for anyway.

You know, there's a way of doing it. That's the way of doing it mate. You know, it's not just grabbing someone and saying let's do it. It's, you know, being familiar when you burn your familiarity, you know what I mean?

It's those, then you can kind of do it. You know, it's not just kind of going in there and like I said, just kind of shove in your phone in someone's face is bullshit. Yeah. So when you're friends with someone, you don't just fucking grab them all the time and get pictures of them like that.

And if you do it, then a few rounds, you know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Just letting people know that yeah, he's, he knows a shit.

He knows a shit. If he's starting his video part off at the same spot that Rowley did, you know, not the right people and taking us back to the right spots. Yeah. That's pretty sweet.

Yeah. What quicker, quick, great. Now if I had a quick, quick, I'd better name. The thing is, if I'm giving, so we gave, well, I gave the John Deelos boss fight video.

I'm sure I give that five, right? Right. It's because I really respect manual was made. You know, I'm not the biggest manual man.

You know, I can flip manual. You know, I can, I can do a bit of technique into manual and do it with the occasional 180. He knows manual. He's very short.

Yeah. I'm talking really short. But I was super respect manuals. I mean, when I see someone like you skate manuals, my old mate Andy lives in Australia was a better user.

You know, so I've had close contact with good manual skaters. Lovely to watch manual. So what I'm saying is I really respect manuals. I'm not even respect manuals more than you respect manuals, maybe because you're better than manuals than me.

You know what I mean? That's what I'm saying. I can, it's, it's an entity that I can't even quite grasp how, how someone's that good at it. So I get, so there's a reason why I give it a five, you know, if I, the problem is if I, if you don't give this video part of five, mate, and it's not because I'm, it like, the skating is a five 100%.

If I start breaking down the tunes and stuff, yeah, fair enough, I could probably pull that down if I really wanted to do it before. But it's 12 minutes of ridiculous skating shit that we haven't seen before. So it's, it's hard not to give it a five. I can nitpick it down to four.

I mean, what are you saying? It's, it's one of them. Yeah. I guess like a turbo rating is definitely a personal rating as well.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm going to give it a four, but it is the highest of all four is before it is a five. Like, like you're saying, if that had, like, like, I've had a four, I mean, I'd say, I'd say that had like a closing song, fuck the coping fucking full on musical instruments, like Trumpets, explosions, like fucking all that shit at the end, like really fucking honing it down, making it like so un, you know, tunes just drilled into your head sort of thing.

Yeah. Otherwise the skating is a five. Like there's nothing bad in this thing. Everything, the whole section is like, endo tricks.

I suppose, yeah, I suppose, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It is the next level category. There's only certain people that can hang, but like, not really, do you know what I mean?

In the handrail skater division, if you will, mate, I don't think anyone's getting anywhere near it. Yeah. I really don't like there's there's been skaters that have hit the super heights and again, paved the way for Nigel to be where he is. The likes of Chris Cole, the likes of Stephen Janosky, you know, exactly, Musker with the 5050 and fucking tell slide King, you know, super heavy and then you know, the list goes on.

Jamie Thomas, obviously back, you know, back back. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Fucking Ellington, you know, all these big there hunters, you know, there's, it goes on. But yeah, the only thing I can kind of, I'm kind of like you, the only thing I can't, you didn't hit every trick I love. It hits a lot of tricks I love, but he obviously didn't hit one regular front side flip, which you know, I'd like to see. But it doesn't, you still got to kind of look at it and go like, yeah, if that isn't a fucking 4.999, what is it?

Yeah. Like there was one manual trick, I can't, what it was. It was like something flipped to a fakey manual, fakey burial flip out. Not really a fan of the fakey burial flip, but is it better than a fakey flip in the technical aspect?

Yes. Yeah. And so I think that's why it's there. And some people like a burial flip or a fakey burial flip.

So that is what it is. Yeah. Well, the fakey burial flip is a fucking odd trick, mate. You know, it's like one of those.

It's like, oh, yeah. The thing about a fakey burial flip is like, everyone can do a fakey fucking, everyone can do a fakey. If you can do a fakey, you can do a fakey trail. You know what I mean?

Yeah. And you can fakey flip out. Yeah. I'm not saying I can do a fakey, but if I could, I'm fucking fakey, big flipping or fakey trail now.

I'd rather just say a fakey flip out though. Yes. Keep it clean. Keep it clean.

Yeah. Just lift it and just force that down. But I mean, there's some really good filming in this video. Yeah, the line's great, filmed.

Like I said, we don't, it doesn't generally bless us with lines in his video parts. And what I'm talking about is those long lines. Yeah. All the way through the schools.

Yeah. He doesn't normally bless us with that. Normally we have to see them instead, which is, you know, great. It's awesome.

Or something that he does it. But he has, you know, he's blessed with a lot of good lines, but I'm sorry man. I've just caught myself here at four minutes and 10 seconds. That's where he hits the crook on a it's almost like a really kind of long ramped up like wheelchair access to a front of a building and He if you can imagine a super long kind of 10 meter bump to bar without the bar at the end That's where he hits the long crook and then crooks down at the end For ten and like you said when he's hit when he's kind of like you say about a peak you're thinking There's surely is no way he's going down on that thing because to get the weight back obviously You've got your nose down mate on something flat to get it down on something.

It's going at least a 45 degree Down downhill gradient the commitment surely the commitment you're gonna have to go for to be again parallel sitting on that rail properly With the most control is crazy Yeah, it's like all commitment hoping that you're not gonna just go for it and tear your ankle and complete nose weight down The whole time get almost like huikin into it because I thought yeah, I thought he was just gonna keep cooking Yeah, you know just keep going But no, yeah, that's fucking sick Yeah, it's there's so there's so many good good tricks in there. Let me just Let's just hit let's hit another random part on the timeline. Just see what see what we're we're blessed with here Let's go. Yeah.

Yeah, so five minutes 30 This is what I'm kind of talking about with the Being able to control which way he's gonna spin out of a spin out of a grind or a slide Yeah, five minutes five minutes 40. So he's in kind of gnollie Backside big spin if you will to a handrail, but then oh Sorry, it's fake is that fakey then he then he comes back basically Yeah, thank you. Sorry and then gets himself back to fakey Yeah, because that obviously that trick is telling him to keep rotating and he's saying now I've got the power and the now some ability to just check that and come back to come back to where I started Yeah, bringing that back to fakey like really using is a lot like shoulder core strength movement like just fighting them Not letting that movement rotate you mm. Yeah, really smart Yeah, so I just found yeah, I just found that that money tricky talking about me that was the five Yeah, just after that five if you hit it at 525.

Yeah, it's the what was that there was a switch here He hits into it hit the Smith Yes, which ill switch knows manual switch flip or switch ill I think it's a switch ill I think it's a switch up. It's pretty fucking quick. Yeah, it's snappy regardless anyway But yeah, I'm like saying it's bolts is a motherfucker mate. Let's not take away that very Yeah, it's saying that very all flip but I know what you mean, it's it's almost like Doing it for the sake of doing it but not like saying hitting the tray or just woofing a big fucking Higher flip habit to kind of really Accentuate, you know, like the height of control you're doing Well, yeah, it's a nice spot so big and then it looked in the first time round but and that it's just back and taste at the end of the day as well, right?

I'm sorry one of the only things I picked picked me like eh, but there was nothing wrong with it Like if you were judging that on a map on a how well was that trick performed with a 10-10 trick? Yeah, like it's you know, yeah, it's a little gnolly here Segment where he just hits it into like a fucking smith into crook. Yeah, no slide. You know, it's again showing that he's got that trick On lock.

Yeah, and in variations. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I can Really nice Yeah, this I mean, there's probably too much to go through mate, you know, so So we should we should we leave it?

We'll give it the highest honor available without giving it a five. You know, I mean, it's it's one of them It's it's a personal tasting. Yeah, we changed that third tune. I probably would give it a five.

Yeah Yeah, yeah, well if you went so he will say we'll say we'll call it a five in a dozen I'm Yeah, I mean everyone else right and let's know what you thought the part if it's deserved of So for five of SOT obviously we've got a few this is a season So we've got a few people coming out there trying to fucking throw some shit down Yeah, I saw to Sean Jones coming out with obviously in the Supreme video and he's got his own video that's just about called kingdom come Which is I'm just gonna quickly check out which is a two which is a two minute video So again, it's one of those kind of real short parts or a spitfire part that kind of level apart I'd imagine Haven't seen it, but just just come out a couple of days ago You on the other hand will just keep walking shift gears mate. You on your hand have seen the supreme part, right? Yes You wanna lay down law? Yeah, so 53 minute video normally back in the day that would have been lovely Might be a bit scary these days.

You're like fuck. I gotta make sure about time for that But I actually had the time for it so I put it on I guess it was kind of like a typical supreme video like quite a lot of the usual Suspects couple couple more but as as it always goes there was no No names so half the guys I didn't have a fucking clue who I was watching in half of them half of them I did Yeah, there was some great great fucking clips in there with it with it with a with a no name thing like it's quite a bug Bear of mine. I just is it like surely just stick a fucking name up right just a little name Like four and one did it in like, you know control chaos section and that was fucking shotgun editing and they still put names in there Yeah, we want to know because then you'll be able to Google your favorite You know that fucking you know you see someone do a meaty hill flip Yeah, yeah, and now you got go I mean obviously you're in detective work, which is fair, but I still think you should be should be educated mate should be easy Yeah, and a lot of a lot of young gunners going around so you want to know who these people are you know You want to be checking them out? Otherwise, you're not gonna be able to know so you said it's not strictly part It's kind of more like a skat gun edit or is it kind of like yeah, that's it like a kind of it Grouped clips so like those kind of like a rolling intro of like different people in a kind of a clip what clip montage and then Kind of carried on so maybe that'd be a skater come on You'd see a couple tricks then like cada would pop in with a trick or a bail Then I go back to that guy with a trick or two and then maybe a couple of people they skating with in the if they're on supreme Or not because you don't know because not enough going on but then like the songs would flick it between everything So you would have kind of like Yeah, like a loose old-school Jazzy rock sort of thing and then it just kind of like flipped into hip-hop for a bit And then I felt like the video kind of stepped up bit for me anyway, it's more enjoyable even had a bit of Brian pain Bianco had a trick in it just one trick nice.

It was a it's been all over Instagram if you can follow them it's like a Front front five oh one eight oh one eight like not pivot but like one eight I'm side of outside front side front side. Yeah to To like the fake nose or switch five oh one eight back to regs I like the four 360 and then come around again. Yeah in the same so carrying on the same rotation. Yeah nice nice Really nice straight what's what you doing on just I'm like a long legend New York or Wherever there?

Yeah, I'm not too sure for the native of all this was bad as in like the height of the ledge Is it like a yeah like a classic knee knee height sort of decent like yeah, nice nice and yeah Went on from there some good tricks and then it kind of flicked back and forth with some of the some of the different music So I said it's kind of kind of hard to follow I'm really surprised I watched it all Really, but it did progressively get better towards the end over like tai shan clips not necessarily like a full part Like it's just like couple clips couple clips of the other guys, but then back to him So without seeing his other part mate. Yeah by shawn's Kingdom come part it's just yeah hasn't got a escape company associated with that part, but without seeing that You are you saying that this that supreme part isn't he isn't gonna get anywhere near Nigel in terms of getting that that title the tricks in there. What you think he's no right there was some good tricks in there like I can't remember the fucking name of this hubber But it's like the brick tubber somewhere in New York and it's like what me and you could could take it It's got like a tree in the middle. It's like that brick It's like if you skate it from it's probably like a four or five set and it's probably like the higher like two bricks But the drop would probably like oh, yeah, you're just like a peer drop Yeah, does he hit the nose blunt up it or something?
