I’ve heard of many moms who plan an unmediated hospital birth for their first, and then some who even plan a birth center birth for their first, and then the handful of moms who plan a home birth for their first, but it’s rare I find somebody who plans a free birth for their first. While Miriam’s heart started in the right place, as the planned free birth inched closer, so did her pride. And she would be humbled.
