November is National Adoption Month, and we’re taking some time to talk about the real, everyday side of adoption, from one adoptive mom to another. We’re sitting down as two adoptive mamas, one a little more seasoned, one still new to the journey, to talk honestly about what life looks like after adoption. Because let’s be real… once the paperwork is done, everyone tends to assume everything’s smooth sailing. But adoption day isn’t the finish line, it’s just another chapter in a story ...

But adoption day isn’t the finish line, it’s just another chapter in a story that keeps unfolding.

We’re sharing some of the things we’ve learned along the way, the challenges that don’t always get talked about, and practical ways to find the support you need. We also get into mental health, post-adoption depression, and the importance of finding a community that truly understands.

If you’re in that post-adoption season, or walking alongside someone who is, this episode is for you.

Hope Restored Missy Dale Hope restored was birthed in me in 2012.   The Lord clearly spoke to me about preaching the gospel, specifically to those who have been wounded inwardly by life circumstances.     To those who feel they are broken, damaged and inwardly dying.    In 2012 I didn't understand the cost of carrying this kind of calling but as the song Oceans says I prayed to have trust without borders.       The next 11 years has taken me on quite the adventure of being broken, feeling like I was damaged beyond repair, and feeling dead on the inside.     Divorce, loss of jobs, loss of my  home, loss of ministry, loss of a church, health issues, surgeries, blindness, moving, loss of friends and support system, , new marriage (to the love of my life), struggling, depression, and fear.      I can tell you I ran from God during a season and was not the mother I should have been.      I lost hope.    I was mad at God and questioned why more times than I can count.    But.....How can you minister to a s The Restored Life with Steve DiBiase Pastor Steve DiBiase The restored life is a journey that I am daily pursuing and I want you to join me as we grow closer to the Lord together!!
